Spider-Gwen is a new spinoff character in the Spider-Man Universe. She went really mainstream due to the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse (which is an awesome movie!)
We all know Gwen Stacy's original fate: she gets thrown off a building, Spider-Man snags her with his web, her neck snaps...she dies. Everyone's sad. End of the Silver Age of comics.
That's not what is happening in my drawing. Spider-Gwen is very much alive, though dazed and unconscious...

We are going to start June off with one of Nintendo's sexiest heroines: Samus Aran of Metroid Prime. This idea is based off a scene from the video game Metroid Prime: Other M, which gives Samus' character more of a backstory. In one scene, Samus' commanding officer Adam Malkovich knocks her out with a ray gun. Samus then wakes up in her Zero Suit. It's a "friendly KO" scenario - Adam doesn't want Samus to stop him from taking on the Metroids on his own.

I'm going to end this month with another Super Fan requested piece. The fan wanted to see Sailor Mercury chloroformed, so I decided to try yet another take on this classic sequence. The villain is Rubeus from Sailor Moon R - and yes, there is a plot line where he abducts Sailor Mercury.

I have a soft spot for those Golden Age jungle girl comics. It seemed like every cover featured a bikini-clad girl in some sort of peril.
This piece was inspired by those peril covers. The damsel in distress is Rulah, and she's been knocked out and bound to a log. She's being pushed into a river by a jungle priestess. What can I say...I have a lot of Fire Emblem fans on my Patreon. A request came in to draw Edelgard in a throat hold peril scene.
This is kind of a new pose for me, but I took it on as a challenge to see if I could pull it off. Took a little longer due to Edelgard's complex costume. Hope to get this colored soon.

The series has a very well received animated show on Amazon Prime. I just finished the first season...and I think it lives up to the hype! I have time to fit in another piece this month, and got a suggestion to draw Supergirl carried by Wonder Woman. Loved the idea, and found this cover as inspiration:
I thought it would be really dramatic if Wonder Woman was carrying Supergirl in a similar pose.
You can also think of this drawing as Supergirl getting rescued from that previous kryptonite gassing!

Hubert is back with his "noxious handkerchief" and his victim is the sexy Shamir!
I wanted to draw a chloroform scene, but also wanted to ensure Shamir's boots made it into the frame. So I came up with a pose where Shamir is being laid down by Hubert, with Hubert slowly removing the cloth. I love how this turned out!

For as long as I have been making art, it never occurred to me to just draw my favorite superheroines knocked out in the same piece. The idea of seeing Zatanna, Batgirl and Supergirl sleeping peacefully, was too good to pass up!
I imagined a scene where the three superheroines were caught in a sleeping gas trap. Without anytime to escape, the three of them succumb to the fumes.

This is my second Yui-Gi-Oh piece within a month. The character is known as Tea Gardner in the US Dub of Yu-Gi-Oh. She was actually chloroformed in the manga and in an episode of the anime.

The line art above is missing some variants I plan to add. Namely, I'm thinking of adding some gas masks to the ladies (Mad-Man's idea!), and also doing a tape g*g variant. Should be fun!
