Special piece for the month of February.
I've always liked Gwenpool's design, especially the way Gurihiru draws her. Really fun, cute superheroine.
For Gwenpool's capture, I wanted to try something with a more humorous bent to match the tone of the comics. I drew Deadpool chloroforming her, while he's holding a small bottle of chloroform, almost like a joke. Great opportunity to think of some funny dialogue--it's very much open-ended.

I've always had my eye on drawing Dorothea from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Her costume has pretty much everything I like.
I chose Edelgard to be the one to chloroform Dorothea. Perhaps this is a continuation of the piece I drew a while back, where Edelgard chloroformed Byleth?
Both Edelgard and Dorothea are part of the same "house" in the game (The Black Eagles), so maybe there's a magical rivalry between the two? Who knows.

Next up, we have Fujiko Mine from the long-running series Lupin the Third. Fujiko is one of the protagonists of the series, depicted as a sexy femme-fatale foiling Lupin's plans. She is famous for getting captured and tied-up a lot. Fujiko even has a few chloroform scenes under her belt. Quite the damsel in distress! I'm glad I finally got to draw her.

The holidays have given me extra time to work on art, so I was able to fit in this Linkle peril piece. I plan to post the completed piece for the January 2024 pack, but wanted to give you guys the WIP preview.
Many Legend of Zelda fans consider Linkle to be a sort of unofficial female version of the titular hero, Link. I've drawn her twice before, but never getting chloroformed. I really like the cute surprised look in her eyes as she's being nabbed by an evil Hylian captain.

I was very excited when I got a request to draw Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series. She's hard to resist! She is after all, a sexy female action hero (who stole the hearts of male gamers all around the world.)

Apologies for a delay in getting this piece out. Been a bit busier than usual and this piece, being a Genshin Impact one, was quite complicated to pull off! The line work is still a bit rough but I wanted to show my progress so far.

Honey Lemon is one of the heroines from the 2014 Disney animated movie Big Hero 6. She's a bubbly, university chemistry student who ends up joining the protagonist on his adventure. X-Men fans are going to like this one. This piece features the psychic Emma Frost getting chloroformed...by none other than Kitty Pryde! These two superheroines are fairly popular in my work. Emma Frost is usually the one doing the chloroforming, but I switched it around. I liked the idea of having Kitty Pryde phasing out of a wall and chloroforming Emma. It shows how resourceful she is in taking advantage of her powers.

Alright Patrons, I'm starting to ramp back up to drawing again (did I ever really stop?), so that means we'll be returning to normal billing for November.
As I think about what artwork to make, I have a really important question for you: do fancy backgrounds in artwork matter? Do you like seeing the 3D scenery I draw, or would you prefer a plain, simple background?
