Yoooooooooooooooooo. I can't member the last time I released all this much content at once. This release includes two completely different characters, the chipmunk girl and Estelle raccoon girl. You can learn more about them both in the changelog, but I don't recommend you read it because I've been up for a very long time and I'm starting to see ovals and lines and stuff.

Look out for a new MGF release around the 15th/Monday!

Hello all! I just finished integrating the brand-new raccoon girl scene into the game (sans the colored dialogue, but that takes less than an hour to add). Her name's Estelle, and if she were to critique her own scene, I bet she'd think it's garbage (high praise coming from a raccoon girl). 

This scene was written by Lope and edited by me. Both of us had a lot of fun thinking up this character. As I said in a previous post, she's really into superheros and ridding evil from this world. She's an Amazon warrior, of sorts, brandishing a massive sword, impractical armor (with lewd results), and a hidden identity. I hope you all find her as endearing as I do!

Next release (whether minor or major) includes a super cool racoon girl

Hello! Sorry for not checking in more often, but I have been working hard on the game. Most my time has been spent on finding other writers to commission new scenes, because at this point, there's far more demand for content than my ability to produce it. I'm in talks with two more authors as I type this out.

My goal is to make next month the largest release (as far as content goes) in the game's history. I'm still working on this chipmunk scene, but first, I want to edit the newest addition to the game: Estelle, the raccoon girl.

Like Dee the chipmunk girl, Estelle is a little nuts. (Please take a moment to download the attached mp3 and play it. Thank you for your cooperation.) See, Estelle thinks of herself as a superhero and thinks of you as her nemesis. A battle (of sorts) ensues, with lewd results. 

Hope that sounds fun. I'm going to go back to editing it then put it in the game. After that, I'll be completing this chipmunk girl scene (with lewd results)!

Attention! Attention! Incoming demo scene! Play it for free. 

I'm going to paste the contents of the changelog, because I think it does a good job explaining:

Lysandra, the bat girl, was added in this minor release. She's a little scary, but in a good way. Zenwick, a new contributor, wrote the scene while I acted as editor. Let me know what you think so I can pass the feedback on to him. I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did!
Oh, and it's worth mentioning that part two of this character is already written, I just haven't ported it into the game yet. It'll be out soon!
SPOILER: This free scene can be found in the demo, randomly popping up when you sleep. If you can't find her, it means you need to play more of Amy's storyline.

Before I release part two of this scene, I plan to complete the chipmunk girl one first. Honestly, I think switching to work on Lysandra will actually help me get the chipmunk girl scene out faster than if I tried to complete it from start to finish. 

It was getting to the point where I was so familiar with my own writing, I couldn't see the forest through the trees. In an attempt to achieve perfection (an impossible/terrible goal), I would work on the same prose for hours, replacing a phrase, coming up with a better one, then a better one, then a better one, only to return to the original version, having realized it was fine all along. Talk about spinning your wheels.

Editing this Lysandra scene was like a little vacation. Now, I can return to the chipmunk girl scene with fresh eyes, and hopefully a fresh attitude of, "Perfect is the enemy of good."

Bat girl coming soon!

Hello all! I wanted to share some news with you: I have commissioned a new author, Zenwick, who's actively working on a new scene of a bat girl named Lysandra. This will be a scene you unlock by sleeping, because it happens at night. It should be done before the 10th of next month at the latest.

This isn't official yet, but I am in talks with the author of the Doe_girl scene. On surveys, a lot of people say that's their favorite character, and they are interested in writing part 2. I'll let you know as soon as it's official.

As for the chipmunk girl, I'm still working real hard on that scene! You can go down a path and learn just how submissive this monster girl is (hint: very). Of course, this path is completely optional. I hesitate to put a specific date on when I'll be done with the scene, but I think I'm being very conservative when I say I expect it to be before the month ends.

Still alive; working daily (technically, nightly)

Hello all! I just want to check in to let everybody know I'm alive and I am working as hard as I can to wrap up this release. I hope you have enjoyed what is already there. Right now, I am adding more lewd options. I don't think it would be smart of me to go into detail on this site, but I'm writing an optional path where you can be extra dominant. You can only unlock it on your second play through of the lewd scene.

I've also been in talks with artists and writers. Regarding the latter, I'm in talks with Skulldust, and he is interested in writing a part two of the Doe_girl. I have seen lots of people say that is their favorite character. 

I want to emphasize that our conversations are in the earliest stages. That can provide a fun opportunity though: if you are a fan of the first scene, feel free to shoot me some ideas on what you want for part 2, and we may be able to incorporate them.

Hello all! I hope you've enjoyed the new chipmunk scene so far. In version v0.25.01, you could access the non-lewd portion of the scene. In this release, I've included the lewd version! The next update will have smaller passages, color-coded dialogue, a lot more replayability for the lewd scene, and more lewd content.

In addition, ALL of the monster girls you randomly find in the forest will now exist in a specific location. This will make them much easier to find!

v0.25.02 Will be out tomorrow!

Sorry for the radio silence since the last post, but I will let you know I've been working hard on getting this scene done. I'm a little too exhausted to continue working tonight, but the first pass of the lewd scene is ready to go, and v0.25.02 will let you experience it!

There are still some variations to the lewd part I'd like to add, I need to paginate and color code the thing, and I need to make the random monster girl show up in specific locations.

This is a preview of the chipmunk scene. What's there is fully fleshed out, prose-wise. That is, until it gets to the "Under construction" page. 

You should be able to find the scene by randomly exploring in the forest. Now, since I haven't completed the feature where you can find monster girls like her in specific locations -- a feature that will ALSO be in the final version of this major release -- and since you are meant to visit the scene over and over again to get all the content, the odds are pretty low that you will be able to run into it when you want. 

That's why I've created a special URL for you to try out. Simply go to https://monstergirlfarmer.com?passageName=Test%20Chipmunk and from there you can play it over and over again. IF YOU ARE USING THIS URL, DO NOT SAVE OVER ANY EXISTING SAVES YOU CARE ABOUT. It's fine to save, just don't overwrite anything important when you do.

From the game when you reach the end of the preview:

Here, you'll be able to give the chipmunk girl more and more carrots without leaving the scene. If you fill her [up], it'll lead to a [lewd] scene.

At this time, the scene has a lot of options you are meant to experiment with by trying different combinations. What's missing is variations for each individual step. e.g., if you do X then Y on two separate visits, X and Y will both read exactly the same way. In the final version, there will be a lot of variety for both X and Y.

Sorry for not including this in its current state. I could've if I had an additional hour or two, but months ago, I committed to a trip on this weekend. As soon as I come back, I'll pick up where I left off.

I've also written some other lewd scenes you can get to, but they aren't fully fleshed out. Please let me know what you think about the current scene. Thank you!

Almost done with this chipmunk girl scene!

This scene is coming together and I think it will be ready really soon. Even after my last post -- the one where I'm explaining how writing multiple variations of the scene is considerable effort compared to writing a single version -- I was caught offguard by how challenging this turned out to be. Instead of simply saying "Take my word for it," I'd like to give an example:

Given a certain context, if Eva climbs a tree, you might say:

"Think you can jump all the way back?"

Or, you might say:

"Think you can go back the way you came?"

Okay, no big deal. Probably won't make a big difference to whoever's playing. Honestly, nobody may even notice this. But Eva's response will be one of these:

"'Think?' That's stupid."

Or

"'Think?' Thinking is a scam invented by 'Big Education."

Or

"'Think?' Do you know how dumb that sounds?"

Or

"'Think?' Pft. That'll take all day."

One-liners like these take significant time to write. Coming up with variations for the same set up? Even more so. And that was just two sentences: that "template" has thirteen paragraphs

AND!

AND there are a total of four templates for this context. That means four completely different ways it could play out. Here's another one (I've reduced it to a single variation instead of expanding all the possibilities):

"Okay, Eva, what do you think about this. Can you--"
"Trust fall!" She leans back with her arms crossed.

Hello all! I wanted to give everybody their v0.25.00 access code (please save it somewhere safe). It's at the bottom of this post and, as always, you can find it at the access code page, too. More on this later, but first, I want to talk about the new scene.

The way I'm approaching this is unlike anything I've ever written before. Usually, even when a scene has lots of choice, it's a linear path from beginning to end -- and when you reach the end, it's over. Sure, if you start over again, you can go down a different path, but everything else is going to be the same.

This new scene is different: you are meant to play it multiple times, and each time, it should feel different. Even if you follow the same path, it'll likely have content you didn't see the previous time. In addition, you'll be able to try things in a different order (including the lewd parts) and have different results. I'm excited to get your feedback on it and I hope it sounds appealing!

The downside is, I've gotta write variations on a lot of content. For example, you could find the chipmunk girl in a tree, bump into her on a walk, or spot her in the distance before she spots you. All of that stuff needs to be written and rewritten. Same goes for the lewd parts.

And, as you can imagine, that takes a lot of time, much more than I anticipated. Since it's already the end of the month and I need more time to work on it, I've decided to give you all the access code in advance. Think of it as an IOU. When v0.25.00 is released, you can use it to play the full version, whether or not you pledge in April. Scene's coming along nicely, but I'm going to need a few more days.

Hi all! Let me tell you about this latest scene. It involves a nameless chipmunk girl who -- based on first impressions -- seems timid and scared, but once the two of you get to know each other, you'll learn she's a depraved freak!  The main kink in the scene involves throat f-ing and lots of gagging, so I hope you like them sloppy. Remember to bring some carrots with you.

When it comes to the main character being dominant versus submissive, I think the current ratio is way out of whack. That's why I decided to put you in control for this one; chipmunk girls are as submissive as they get!

Last time I posted, I think I said I'd need up to 10 days to complete this release. That was ten days ago. I'm still working on it and here's why: taxes. Now I know, I know: when you read an official post about Monster Girl Farmer, the first thought that comes to mind is, "I hope he talks about the American tax system." /s I won't blame you if you decide to ignore the rest of this. For everyone else, hold onto your butts because I'm about to elaborate:

If your taxes are simple, it's common to file them without guidance. But for me, the last five years in a row, something weird always happens to complicate them. Each year I think I can do them on my own, but I eventually give up and seek professional help.

Most years, I wouldn't wave the white flag until April (taxes are due April 18th in The States). For those that don't know, the closer you get to the due date, the more overworked and stressed these tax advisors become. They handle so many clients at once, sometimes they can't keep track of who's who. When you are working under those conditions, mistakes aren't just likely, they're inevitable.

This year, I wanted to do things different! So as soon as I finished unpacking and got the new house in a livable state, I decided I was going to work on filing my taxes a month earlier than usual. Finally, I could live with confidence that they were filed correctly. Finally, I could take a more passive, relaxed approach to them instead of the normal, "OMG, time is running out!" anxiety I give myself.

I'm happy to say the person I'm working with is great. A little too great... if you ask me. They looked at my previous tax return and said, "Uhhh... this doesn't look right."

Damn it.

So long story short, to avoid a potential audit, I had to dig up five years worth of tax filing data. Not just the returns, but everything I sent to the previous tax advisors so my new guy can double check their math. You know, that 5 year old mail you usually never have to think about again? The stuff you'd likely throw away or put into storage during a move

For seven days in a row and spent hours upon hours searching through my unorganized paperwork and mail, looking for anything that could be relevant to my taxes. I think I may have worked forty hours finding all the stuff for him. Yeah...

This has never happened before and I don't think it'll happen again. For one, it's convinced me to come up with a better system. I've digitized everything (did you know they have paper on computers now?) Truth be told, I'm kind of happy this guy found problems because it'll gives me peace of mind going forward (famous last words).

Anyway, this whole ordeal isn't officially done yet, but I think he has everything he needs now so I won't have to spend significant time on it (famous last words).

Ooh, he's trying!

Sorry for the few days of radio silence. We're settled into the new place, at this point. Well, enough for me to continue working on MGF, that is.

Speaking of which, I wanted to let you all know I'm working hard on getting this release out as soon as possible. This latest scene with the chipmunk-girl has a ton of choices in it already -- hopefully, that's appealing -- and I'm not sure when that's going to end. I do have a main path in mind, so if it comes to it, I know which branches to prune.

After that, as promised, I'm going to make it so all the monster girls on the journal show up in specific locations so it's easier to find them. This really should be out in less than 10 days, but it's kind of hard to give a better estimate than that given all the choices I've added. Could be as little as 4? We'll see.

The next character will be a chipmunk-girl named Dee.

I thought I already announced this elsewhere, but I couldn't find where I did so. Sorry to leave what i was working on for this release so vague up until this point. Let me tell you about this character. 

Dee's perspective of time is quite different than yours. She moves and speaks at superhuman speeds the main character can't understand. Because of this, they communicate via charades... eventually. You see, she's quite skittish, but feed her enough carrots, and you'll gain her trust.

This scene is composed of a lot of little choices and most of them lead to interesting and distinct paths -- including lewd ones. Let's just say she can fit more in those cheeks than you'd think...

I'll be up front this time and say I'm not sure if I'm going to make this release on the 10th. This is for a couple of reasons. 

The first is a desire to add more quality-of-life improvements to the game. Namely, specific exploration scenes in specific locations. This is gonna unlock some really cool possibilities. Imagine characters gossiping about rumors of where other girls hang out and what they like. That's not an option at the moment because every exploration scene is completely random. I really, really want to get this done this release, and I'm willing to delay the release for it (within reason).

More importantly, a lot of crazy non-game related events have been slowing me down. For example, I spent the last three days packing my belongings. See, my girlfriend landed a job hundreds of miles away and they want her to start as soon as possible. So, tomorrow we'll be moving! I won't have a computer to work on tomorrow because it's a two day move. Never done one of those before and the thought is kind of nerve-racking.

And the weird thing is the Internet provider over there physically mails you their modem. I picked the date of our arrival, but it'll come "within 2 business days" of the date I picked. Worst case scenario, I may not have Internet access until the 7th!

This could be a blessing in disguise though. Maybe I'll get a lot done without Internet as a distraction? More likely, though, I'll have to spend a day or two unpacking and helping out around the house.

I just want to say I hope you all love this new mimic girl seen as much as I do. That's definitely the biggest appeal in this release, but I did work on other things too:

  • At the moment, there are so many random expiration scenes, the odds of discovering the specific scene you're looking for has become a grindfest. As a TEMPORARY solution to this problem, I'm adding cheat codes for the $5 pledges that jump directly to the random exploration monster girl scenes.
    I see the permanent fix to this problem -- unique scenes occurring in specific locations at a much higher probability -- to be a high priority feature. Implementing it this way is an iteration toward that goal.
  • Monster Girl Farmer was always planned to be an epic game, but now it's truly at the point where it's too large for one person to work on alone. I need content contributors, but they need a way of getting up to speed with the game's lore and character personalities. Therefore, I put a lot of time into creating "Contributors Guide" wiki page. It's still a work in progress, but it's already saved me a lot of time. With these time savings, I was able to commission 4 new scenes during this release! Keep an eye out for them as they'll be integrated soon!

99% sure I'll be releasing tomorrow!

I completely ported the new scene into the game. Next, I have to go through the release process, but before I do that, there's one more feature I want to add: cheats to jump directly to the random exploration monster girl scenes. 

This is a solution to a temporary problem: it's important to be able to find certain random exploration scenes in specific locations, otherwise, you have a very small chance of randomly finding the specific scene you were looking for. Until I add that future, I'd like to make them all accessible as a cheat code. 

I'm hoping to fix this temporary problem the release after this.

I love this new scene, but I'm sorry to say it's going to take a few more days.

I'm really sorry everyone. I wanted so bad to release this yesterday, but I couldn't make it happen. I stayed up all night trying to get it across the finish line, but I love the premise of this mimic girl so much, I kept having idea after idea. Every step forward moved the goalposts a step back. It's one of those "time flies" situations.

It's 95% edited. Honestly, I think it only needs one more hour of work, then the scene will be finished. Full disclosure:

  • When I say scene, I mean the written content. This is the hardest part, but it still takes time to port it to the game and colorcode the dialog.
  • My family is visiting for a couple of days, so I may not have time to work on the game until Wednesday. I'd kinda like to spend a lot of my time with them while they are here, ya know?
  • Now mind you, I am not the original author of this scene. That would be Velveteen Lich. They came up with the premise, too. I'm merely the editor, but man, I've been editing my butt off. Thanks to their ideas, I've probably doubled or even tripled the original.

The mimic girl will be released around the 13th!

Hello all! The mimic girl scene is complete, but I'm in the process of editing it. While I think I had enough time to release it on the tenth, some unexpected real-life interruptions got in the way -- like five, all in this week. 

Due to poor time management, my previous release was 10 days late, limiting the time I had  before the next one. I spent the majority of that time finding contributors and writing a wiki to answer common questions of theirs like, "Where do I send my invoice?" and, "How technologically sophisticated are the monster girls?"

Most professionals don't have time or interest in understanding my game's story and style (which is completely understandable), and my goal for the wiki is to guide authors to contribute content that feels like it fits in the game -- even if I'm not around to answer their questions e.g., I'm asleep. Believe it or not, the wiki's as long-winded as this post :) 

I hope you all like the mimic girl. Her transformation scene is really fun!

The next release (Feb 10...ish) will contain a new transformation scene!

The next character's name is Rebecca (that's Mistress Rebecca to you) -- a mimic girl. If you've ever played an Eastern RPG, you may have experienced this monster before: they disguise themselves as treasure chests, lying in wait for a poor adventurer/poor thief to look inside. That's when they ambush you, transforming into a dangerous monster!

Monster Girl Farmer v0.23.02 released!

Major Update: I just released v0.23.02 and you should definitely upgrade to it. Do not bother with the v0.23.01 patch because it had a major bug in it: you could not see any care activities. Therefore you could not progress past your first encounter with Eva.

I don't normally make separate posts for patches, but I put so much effort into this and it was so delayed, I feel it's worth an exception. I can't believe how long this took! I'm sorry for the delays, but I'm also proud of how much I got done! Allow me to gloat for a second. This patch changed 395 files, consisted of 211 git commits (i.e., version control -- the technology that allows me to pick up where I left off if my computer dies), added 8772 lines of code, and deleted 6622. Phew. 

Okay back to business. Here are the new features added:

  • The journal page now shows an accurate number of scenes for each monster girl. For example, it used to say Eva had 2 scenes total, but that was wrong because I was only counting the ones unlocked after "winning" an encounter. There's tons more I left out: scenes unlocked by sleeping, exploring the forest, gifting her items, etc.

    When you include all those, Eva has 12(!) scenes total -- and for what it's worth, the later ones get pretty lewd...
  • Similarly, when you interact with an individual monster girl, her scenes viewed/total now reflect reality.
  • The journal shows an accurate count of monster girls in the game. It used to say there were 7 girls total, but that was only considering the main story cast. There are just as many optional characters, and now they are counted too. As of this patch, the total number of monster girls in the game is 14(!)!
  • Since its existence, the journal always displayed a row for each monster girl you've met and a breakdown of viewed / total scenes. Now it also includes monster girls you *haven't met*. This is super useful, especially if you've played previous versions; at a glance, you can see how much content you missed and how much new content has been added.
  • Personally, I think knowing the names/types of monster girls is a bit of a spoiler. So when you haven't met a monster girl yet, her name in the journal becomes '???'.
  • If you hover or click on the aforementioned '???', you'll see a tooltip hint about how to discover her.
  • If you are playing the demo and you're considering purchasing the full game, these new statistics are accurately represented to give you a sense of how much content is left to in the game. In the future, I plan to add the average playtime left in the game.

Finally!

Man, I haven't worked this hard on release since the first version of the game. Technically, I'm done, but there are a few nice to haves I think you'll all appreciate. Namely, the ability to see the count of all the scenes you've seen versus the total in the game. 

That already shows up in the pop up when access code, but I realized everyone would probably want that in their journal, too. Therefore I think I will release this patch Tuesday/Wednesday by the latest (TM). 

Then, I plan to start my search for more contributors. I hope you like the patch!

New patch release coming this week! Improves the demo and the full game

Phew. Since that last post where I said I released, I've been working almost nonstop on this feature I was in the middle of. It's crazy how long it's taking! Although it's not done yet, it's 90-95% of the way there. 

I think this feature is going to add a lot of value for everyone. It's going to give you an accurate number for each girl's scenes, and the total girls that can be discovered, including those minor ones like the Angel statue and the Snake girl. It'll be a lot easier to tell how much content you've seen and how much more there is to go.

After that, I think I'm going to spend my efforts looking for more contributing authors, because I freak out at the beginning of every month, worried about whether or not I'm going to make the 10th in time.

If you're interested in contributing, or you have a favorite author that is open for commissions, let me know. Maybe I'll be able to get them to write a scene or two or more.

Monster Girl Farmer v0.23.00 released! Even more coming soon.

Hello all! I hope you all had wonderful, happy holidays. I wanted to let you know I released a new version of Monster Girl Farmer which adds a new path to the golem girl's lewd scene. You can read more details about it in the changelog. As I say there, it's the sexiest component of this release, but I'm hoping to add a little more content as a patch soon (in a matter of days).

This will add some quality-of-life improvements for me and you. Right now it says there are 1-3 scenes for each character which is completely inaccurate. This feature will tell you the real amount of scenes for each character and include numbers for girls you can't ever/yet recruit, which includes the golem girl mentioned above. 

I hope this helps while playing the game. There are people out there who probably don't even know they're missing out on content. And there are others who think there's nothing to do with Eva after the demo. Those who have played the full game know that's not true.

Keep a lookout for more golem girl

Hi all! Figured I should let you know what to expect this release. PunishedKom is continuing with his golem girl scene, adding a new path to her intro -- and by his estimation, at least 3000 words. 

This new path is all about butt stuff, so hopefully you're into that.

As for me, I've been focusing on programming. The main feature I'm working on isn't as sexy as PunishedKom's effort, but in my opinion, it's super important. It's about a more accurate picture of how many scenes are in the game.

See, when you look at your journal or the monster girl management UI (you know, that box where you can choose to increase affection or replay moments?), it says each girl has 2-3 scenes. It says there are a total of seven monster girls. The game has grown significantly, but those numbers have stayed the same. 

I'm not counting scenes that involve multiple characters like Olivia's intro or gambling with Amy. I'm not counting the transformation scenes. I'm not even counting scenes that involve characters you discover by exploring the forest.

On forums and surveys, people assume the full game will have less than 2x the content and characters of the demo, but it has much more than that. By keeping this information hidden, I'm selling the game short. Revealing this information has been my main focus.

I expect to have time left over when I'm done with this, but I haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with that. In other words, there should be more than the above when I release on (or around) the 10th.

Monster Girl Farmer v0.22.00 released!

Hello all!

I just released a new version of Monster Girl Farmer and it contains a huge new random scene, available to all. In other words, you can access it in the demo build.

This scene is a massive 11k words, written by PunishedKom, a brand-new contributor to Monster Girl Farmer, but is not new to writing lewd content. In fact, he has an erotic literature series that has over 300 chapters  and has been viewed almost a million times! I've been editing this scene for a couple of days now, and it's pretty hot. Hope you like girls made of mud, because this scene involves a golem girl. Here's how it starts:

While exploring, you discover a path that leads you into an isolated grove surrounded by a wall of boulders. 
On the other side of them, you find a sleeping beauty with a giant ruby lodged in her chest like a button, waiting to be pressed.
She's obviously ancient, and who knows how long she's been sleeping there. Her stone gauntlets and boots are covered in moss. Is she some magical weapon of mass distraction, or just waiting for her Prince? Push the button and find out.

For the scene, I highly recommend looking at the change log for details, especially if you play the game as a cis female. There are other details in there too, like how there's a new image of Amy the ant girl.

So what's next? 

Well, PunishedKom's interested in writing another lewd scene for me next month. Not of this golem girl (though he has plans for her in the future), but of your favorite mushroom girl, Enoki! 

As for me? Finding at least one more contributor then... Features! 

There are so many important ones I want to work on. For example: 

  • Did you know there are tons more scenes in the game than the journal says? 
  • Did you know I've been trying to start working on a visual map for over a year?
  • That I've never worked on balancing the encounter system since it's initial release?
  • Did you know, with the exception of decayed wood and the pink orchard, every encounter is completely random regardless of where you explore? That's because when I created the exploration minigame, there wasn't enough content or variety of locations. But there's no reason for that now. There hasn't been for a long, long time. 

Suffice it to say, I'm super excited to work on these without having to simultaneously stress about creating 100% of the content. 

In that respect, PunishedKom's been a real lifesaver. Let us know what you think of the new scene. Enjoy!

An announcement before today's release: we have a new ongoing contributor!

There’s also a mystic destiny hanging over his head, complete with a Demon Lord he’s technically supposed to allegedly defeat, maybe, but he tries not to think about that crap too much.

Monster Girl Farmer v0.21.00 released!

Again, I was a few minutes late, but I hope you don't mind. Rather than exclusively talk about the changes in this major release, I'm going to talk about all the changes that occurred after the previous one. I don't normally mention these unless they are major, and I think I should start doing so because I put a lot of work into patching the code after a release, so I'd like you all to know about it. 

Since this release is already a few minutes late, I'm just going to paste the changelog, but before I do that, let me tell you about what I've got planned for the next release: more quests! I think I want the quest to lead to some permanent body transformation content. Even before that, I'm planning to spruce up the latest release with a patch to the quest that was just created.

Characters:

- I missed a major implementation detail in the quest system. This will help me write quests easier in the future.

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed some pronoun issues in the "Sophie apologizes" scene

Random Scene/Quests:

- I added the first official quest to the game. To unlock it, complete the field tutorial and visit town. You'll find someone in the town square you can talk to. This quest has a lot of different routes and an ethical choice to be made. It's in the demo, so I hope it gives people an idea of how complex quests could be in the future. I'd love your feedback on it. PS: There is a bit missing from this that will be added in a matter of days: I will be color coding the quest and adding better pagination. The cultivator currently has no effect and does not show up in your inventory. These will be fixed in a matter of days.

Characters:

- This is a patch release (meaning people who pledged $5 last month will still have access to it), but it's the size of a major release. Without a doubt, this is the most complex scene I've ever written, and when I say that, it includes my previously completed game. There are so many choices that have so many consequences (some big, some small). 

I'd really love to hear what you think, because this is a new style of scene for me. To get to it, you gotta play through the scene were Amy sleeps over your house. When you are asked if you want to continue with butt stuff, say no, and you'll get this scene as an alternative path.

Bug Fixes:

- In one scene when exploring in the forest, you can find a dead animal. It says if you'd brought Eva with she might be able to tell you what happened, even if you actually did bring Eva with.

- Some of Amy's dialogue isn't highlighted purple during her first lewd scene

Bug Fixes:

- The archive generator was wrapping its post in double quotes. This is been fixed.

- The archive generator couldn't patch a major release if it is the most recent major release.

- The changelog generator and archive generator were escaping quotes in the post.
