February Side Comic WIP Pages

Remember that the side comic pages are split into two parts. The first page is a direct continuation of the narrative set up in the first 4 pages that appeared last month. The second page is from a public mass orgy scene that takes place at the end of the story which features patron designed characters. Smaller patrons vote on the first page, where higher tier patrons get to insert their characters into the second pages.

February Concept Art #1: Knight Design

Not the final design of the new knight character, but pretty close. I want the armor to look bigger, like heavier gauntlets. Unlike Anirah or Sae'lise, I didn't want this character to look muscular at all, more like her armor and her tits are too big for the rest of her.

Some of the poses in the first two pages look too stiff and Princess Claire should be squatting or her legs need to be much more spread out to deal with her giant dick. I also want the way the new daemon appears to look a little different, too.

The first images of the new side comic. These pages will come out for free so everyone gets a sense of what this new side comic will be because I hope it goes on for quite a while. After this set, the full pages will be exclusive to higher tier patrons like the previous side comics.

There are some pose and detail changes I want to see, but not a lot. The characters are bathing before they head out on their adventure to retrieve a mysterious lost relic.

This is looking a lot better overall, but the left pose on the last page still doesn't look dynamic enough. I LOVE the right pose on that page, but her stance in the left panel is too stiff for the amount of energy she needs to be putting into that thrust to bisect that monster.

While we wait for the December WIP pages, I'd like to share the world map of the deva homeworld of Mara, currently under occupation by the Tzaraks. This map features Mara as it appeared during the Waxing Wars, the period of deva history that predates the Visanians and Tel'ruun- essentially the pre-modern deva world. The final page of The Deva Nobility side comic! I've been planning on introducing the gronil for a loooong time, so I'm glad to finally address the great servile beasts the deva more or less enslave to practice agriculture. The deva are more like a combination of classic high elves and drow than wood elves, so they don't have some kind of natural, spiritual connection to the gronil. Instead, they use their lunar and star magic to keep them under their control.

December Concept Art #2: Noble House Sigils

Here's another set of noble house sigils similar to ones we got years ago for the main characters. Since we're going to be making all these noble house profiles for side characters who have shown up in the main comic or side comics over the years, I thought it would be cool to get more of this heraldry developed. We'll probably see another six at some point. Patrons who read the noble house profiles will see these showing up next year.
