It’s time for some more @portraitsandlight! I still have so many photos he’s taken that I haven’t shared yet—and the collection is about to grow even more. After Christmas, I’ll be visiting him for a few days, and we’ve already booked two studios. I’m so excited to dive into a three-day-long shooting bubble. I can’t wait to see what we’ll create together!

The past few days have been overwhelming, and suddenly, I find myself thrust back into daily life. Right now, I’m unsure how to navigate it all—I don’t know where to turn or what steps to take next. It feels like I’m stuck in survival mode. The things that once brought me joy seem so distant, like I’ve lost my connection to them entirely. For now, I’ll take it day by day.

Rainy Saturday

Sitting in my room, listening to the rain tapping against the window. It’s a quiet Saturday, and the only thing on my agenda is a hairdresser appointment. It feels strange to have nothing else planned and just sit with myself—but maybe that’s its own kind of therapy.

A little update

I haven’t been sharing much about my private life lately, and honestly, writing this feels a bit strange. Being in the clinic feels like living in a bubble, far removed from what used to be my normal. Occasionally, I miss photoshoots and everything that comes with them, but those moments are rare. Most of the time, I find myself wanting to distance from my old life entirely.

It seems my days of pastries and beautiful buildings have come to an end. As much as I'd love to wander the streets of Paris forever, sampling every boulangerie along the way, reality calls. To bring a bit of color to the grey days ahead, I’ve put together a mini-series with @schnaps_und_schuss, shot in my former bedroom. 😊

Oh wow... I can still remember how warm it was that day—and all those mosquito bites afterward! But honestly, for a good photo (or a few!), I can put up with quite a bit—even though my tolerance for it all seems to be shrinking as I get older! 😂

Have you ever held onto a prejudice for so long, only to find out in a single day just how ridiculous it was—and that you were the one standing in your own way? That’s been me with France. I never wanted to visit. I’d heard that people there were rude and refused to speak English, even if they could. And honestly, I was over the Eiffel Tower just from seeing it everywhere in photos and documentaries. So, I stayed away.

But then, two friends and I chose to ignore our own prejudice�...

My beloved green wall

Already missing my green bedroom wall! 😄 My next apartment has to have one too—and maybe even a four-poster bed, if there's enough space. 😂 I can't wait to have my own place again, with the freedom to truly make it my own. But I’m not exactly looking forward to apartment hunting and picking a decor style—it can get overwhelming fast!
