Another early morning post! This time, it’s a mini-series shot in a very cool attic (@jeannoirstudios in Weilburg). The light in there is incredible, right?

Good morning

Just prepared myself some breakfast after another very short night and decided that I - for once - could make an early post 🙃 My to-do list is long, so it's nice to get the things done that take a little less time than others (and honestly, writing a post and selecting pictures is so much more fun than tidying up or packing a suitcase). On that note: I wish you all a wonderful Monday!

Previews @portraitsandlight

Some of you might have already seen my stories from this weekend. I had the honour to shoot again with @portraitsandlight who visited me in Wiesbaden - and what can I say? A little life update

Writing this while I'm sitting in the middle of a very chaotic bedroom (thankfully, I don't have to face the piles of clothing behind me when sitting at my desk 😂). I successfully moved out on Wednesday and am now pretty occupied with unpacking - I have way too many clothes and... stuff in general 😅 Also, I had a call with a friend yesterday, and I don't want to get ahead of things, but there might be a Podcast next year (for now only in German). Busy Wednesday

Hey you guys, I'm in the middle of packing boxes and getting everything ready for moving today, so it has already bin a crazy busy Wednesday for me. At the same time, I also have to get prepared for my upcoming trip to France next week (first Paris, then Chartres). Another weekend

Another weekend that is almost over - I often really don't know where the time went. I'm pretty preoccupied with planning my upcoming trip to Scotland as it was quite a spontaneous one and we still haven't booked all the accommodations - but we are going to be grand 😂 I hope that you are having a stress-free weekend and that the weather is as sunny as it is here 🌞

Another rainy Thursday

Autumn is here, and after the last days full of sunshine it feels a bit depressing, to be honest 😂 My shooting season has also come to an end (more or less) and I will take it slow for the rest of the year (not that there is much year left) but thankfully I still have plenty of pictures for you. This here was with @toleaveascar - you already saw quite a few mini-series with him, and I still have some left for you 😊

A mini-series with Ingo from @portraitsandlight - it was our first shooting and I felt so comfortable (which is not a given). Unfortunately, he doesn't live close by, so finding a date and time that works for both of us is always a struggle. To give you a little update on what is happening: I'm planning a trip to Scotland in October and France in November - I can't wait to leave the grey weather behind for some more grey weather 😂 But traveling makes everything better! Behind the painting foil

We shot A little mini-series behind painting foil in my living room - the light is just a super cheap ring light I've used for selfies and sometimes streaming. I always find it fascinating how small props can make such a difference. I wish I would be more creative when trying out daily-life objects - I've seen so many great things with tin foil, fabric, etc - but I really have to rely heavily on Pinterest and Instagram to inspire me.

Some pizza action 🍕 We ordered it for a shooting but then got so hungry that we decided to simply eat it - so these are the only pictures we took before the hunger got too big 😂

I love the look of polaroids and I love that you really have to think what you want to convey as you don't have "unlimited material". Do you like polaroids as well or are you more of a digital photography fan?

Slow August

I really enjoyed last month being a bit slower shooting-wise. I still have so many things to share with you, and I'm still waiting for the results of two shootings, so I think taking a break isn't the worst thing 😄 Also, I'm having a whole week of photoshoots coming up on Sunday when I'm going to travel to Lanzarote. I couldn't decide which pictures to include in this mini-series, so I went with more than usual 😁 I'm obsessed with the light, the look... and I feel sexy in a way I haven't felt sexy before.

What a week

30 degrees Celsius, 20 degrees Celsius, 30 degrees Celsius... it's an up and down at the moment, and I don't know about you guys, but for me, that's terribly exhausting 😂 Having to travel by train, and sleeping in a hotel (I just can't get a good night's sleep there) did not help much, and I'm happy to be home now. Next week is going to be a lot of organising, washing clothes, and packing for Lanzarote, so I'm kinda hoping for a relaxed time there - but we'll see about that!
