Back in Germany

Unfortunately, my flight back from Ireland was not canceled, so it was a normal start in the week with work, doing laundry etc. I somehow can't believe that we almost have September and that my shooting trip to Lanzarote is coming closer and closer. There are still lots of things I need to organize and buy until then (kinda panicking a bit) - since I'm not a summer holiday person, I don't even have a beach towel or a pair of sunglasses 😂 Plus, I was hoping to find summer clothes on Sale in...

It's raining...

...hopefully not in Ireland 😜 If you read this, I'm on an airplane to Ireland. Unfortunately, just for the weekend, but it's definitely better than nothing. Can't wait for all the good food, the friendly people, evenings (well, two evenings) in pubs, and buying PLENTY of Irish sweets that, hopefully, will fit in my suitcase.

In the studio with Zeitautomatik

I thought I could switch it up and show you some pictures from various shootings with @zeitautomatik. He always had a particular concept in his head, so there would never be an abundance of pictures but I would basically pose for this one specific shot. I really appreciated his very unique way of approaching photography, the calmness and/or strength his works radiate - and of course for being one of the first photographers I ever worked with.

Upcoming shooting trip

Now that summer seems to be over in Germany, I am even more excited for my upcoming shooting trip to Lanzarote in September. Have you ever been there? I'm usually not the one for summer/beach vacations, but I'm pretty sure we will also do lots of sightseeing (and probably shopping) besides shooting. Since it is a paid shooting trip, I don't know how much behind-the-scenes stuff I'm allowed to post, but I'll try to post some impressions of the island itself at least!

Moods and music

Another mini-series with @dominiklachmannfotografie - this one was taken at the same day as the mini-series from four days ago. I find it interesting how the mood and look can change within the same shooting just because the light, the room, or the clothes are different. Of course, it also depends on the music playing 😋 At one point, I wanted to create dedicated playlists for each "mood" but ended up with a wild mixture. So now I either have to skip or ignore songs while shooting - or swit...

Summer and sunburn

Well, what can I say? Summer is here and so is my sunburn 😂 I'm usually not the one to sunbathe but I thought the past couple of days: Let's see if my legs are without freckles because I can't get any, or because I never expose my legs to the sun. My knees are telling me that it's the latter because I started to get freckles there - but of course, I was stupid enough to stay in the sun for longer than 10 minutes PLUS I didn't use any sun lotion. I still have many mini-series with him, and now I have received the first results of our last photoshoot, so even more are waiting to be posted.

I tried

Well, as stated in my previous post, I tried to use ChatGPT to cluster my photoshoots into mini-series - without much success. I'm not sure if I'd need to use another AI or if I was just too impatient to do some proper research, but for now, I'm back to using my own brainpower 😆 If you guys have any tips in regards to that, feel free to shoot me a message or leave a comment - I highly appreciate any kind of help 😊

New week ahead

Hey there! I'm quite busy at the moment sifting through the results of my last photoshoots, deciding which pictures will be edited, and planning the rest of the year (I'm almost fully booked until November 🤯), plus organizing the upcoming trips. Shooting weekend

It's 10:08 PM and @portritsandlight2 and I just wrapped up our shooting day (which was honestly more talking and eating snacks/Indian food than taking pictures, but who cares 😂 Tomorrow, we'll have breakfast with schnaps_und_schuss, and then the shooting weekend continues. I try not to shoot several days in a row, as it can be super draining, but it barely feels like work with these two.

Busy bee

With two photo shootings plus house/pet sitting, I'm surely ready for another weekend 😂 I think that July in general is one of my busiest months photography-wise since AGES, and I'm currently waiting for the results of four shootings (which were all very different). Not sure if I can keep this up for the rest of the year, but I surely will try. But enough of me, how was your weekend?
