Keto Wolf Clothed

As silly as it sounds, I've spent the last few months without a defined species. Choosing a species is something I don't take too lightly, as I feel it's something very personal. I was debating between Wolf or Tamaskan for months, but it's only within the last week that it hit me that I'm happy with Wolf.

I've always had some wolf in me, and it feels "right" to be one all the way.

Remember When (Wip 5 Detail Shot)

Getting more colors put into this one. It was hard for me to avoid the classic imagery of sitting on porch rocking chairs. I really like the visual though, despite maybe being cliche.

Getting some colors down, trying to get more cool tones and low lighting.

I'm really particularly pleased with Dale's neckerchief unraveling.

Locker Belongings

Commission for: YuuryuuFeaturing: Tenki & Chirou

The bull, Tenki, has spotted a wolf in the locker room, and decides to make the wolf his. The wolf puts up a little bit of a struggle, but the bull easily overpowers him. Eventually the flailing and yelling gets a little annoying, so a grip around the wolf's neck helps keep the wolf in place and a little quieter, as the bull guides the struggling wolf over his dick. It'll all fit eventually.

Point Nowhere Animatic (Wip 1)

The story of Feargus and Dale, in Point Nowhere, is a very vivid one in my head. The story plays in my head like a movie, especially when they play music together; I can hear them laughing, picking strings, singing, singing, and so on.

I've been doing my best using art and music, aided by written story, to try and recreate what I see and feel in my head, but I often times feel like I want to try more.

Dale and Feargus playing music together is a very important aspect to the story. It's o...

Poop Venture

Noodle and Freya depart on a little poop venture. With all the surrounding snow and blowing winds of an early winter evening, it's hard not to take advantage of the open space to run wildly through to find the most perfect spot to poop. They return home with calls dinner, and it couldn't be a more perfect evening.- - -Music - "Poop Venture" by Keto and dBearAwhile back, dBear had gotten Logic Pro for us, and I instantly wanted to play with it. I dabbled a quick little piano intro, asked him to t...

Red Threads That Bind Us

Finished painting for Drakien.

Seems like Drakien is making good use of a helpless Fannar. Bound and suspended in red ropes, the dragon is making sure the sergal gets treated properly.

Drakien Sketch

This is the sketch for Drakien's commission. We ended up agreeing with the thumbnail option, B.

It was my personal favorite of the options, so I was really pleased to get to work with it. I think it's an interesting, albeit difficult, composition.

White Winter Hymnal - Younger Brother Sketch (Wip 1)

Concept sketch for the foxhound little brother.

- - -

There's a song by Fleet Foxes, called "White Winter Hymnal". It's a short little simple song with beautiful harmonies that I really love.

For whatever reason, the song instantly gives me a particular feeling of a little house dusted in snow, across the seas and a time ago, from my current Southern California living.

It puts a little movie in my head, involving a German Shepherd family in early 1940's; a mot...

I wanted to show the eldest brother in his "normal clothes", as opposed to his soldier clothes.

Slow Month Apologies

Apologies for the slow month. I should have said so ahead of time, but it was lots of moving around the country, but I've made it back home, and am ready to do more art.

I have a handful of ideas in my head, Point Nowhere progress, and commissions to do, and I'm excited to put them down on paper!

Thank you for your patience!

Adventure Ahead

Boreas and Keto are building an all-terrain ship; it walks on land, sails on water, and flies through the air!

They're setting up to go on adventures around the world to discover new things, help critters in need, and eat foods they've never experienced.

Note: I've been playing with a species and design change, and Keto's shown here in my initial new design changes.

Smoke Break

The young rottweiler knelt behind the stack of empty wooden crates, glaring indignation at the greying shepherd looming over him. A flick and spark, and the end of a thick cigar flared to orange life, jutting out from between the older canine’s teeth.

“This one ain’t for you to suck on.” The black lips muttered around the cigar dismissively as he pulled a mouthful of air through it and rumbled deeply, savoring the taste.

The rottweiler lowered his eyes to stare ...

Kashra and the Rottie (Wip 2)

Finished up the sketch for this piece, and I have to say I'm pretty damn happy with it. I've drawn Kashra many times in the past, but this is probably the sexiest I've drawn him, and the angle is a lot of fun too.

It might be a little hard to tell here, but Kashra wears a mechanic type jumpsuit, and so the top half is hanging off his waist.

And that's cigar ash on the rottie's muzzle.

The entire picture is based on a little short Kashra wrote, which will be shared with ...

Kashra and the Rottie (Thumbnails)

A little birthday art for Kashra is in the works. It's been awhile since I've drawn Kashra in any serious manner, and never with a cigar before, so this will be a fun. Here's a few thumbnail ideas we tossed around. I suppose the one we go with, will be seen in further updates!

Kashra wrote up a little thing for this piece, and it's always fun to have a collaboration between two mediums that come together. Big fan of that, so this'll be fun to release!

After Clatter (Wip 2 Detail Shot)

Relationships are a funny thing. When you're so in love with somebody, you never really imagine how you could also hate them. You don't typically imagine a situation where you find yourself wondering 'How did we get here?'.

Remember When (Wip 4 Detail Shot)

More colors.

- - -

Two old farmers, laying back in their rocking chairs out on the porch one afternoon. You can see it through their smiles and interaction with each other, that these are two people who have been through a lot together; both good and bad. They know each other like the back of their paws, and it's almost like they've discovered something special together.
