Early release video!

This is an easier video to make, just me recounting the last year of doing youtube videos and having some fun with some typical youtuber gags.

I'm happy to announce as well that I am officially 2 weeks ahead of my release schedule so you will still get an early release video next Friday despite me being away from my PC on holiday. Woohoo!

I'm starting to get a hang of doing this "in the moment" painting videos. They can very easily become long, boring, and unengaging but they are far easier to produce. This one still isn't the greatest, but I have ideas for format for later videos that will make this better! Only 1 day behind on my 1-week ahead release schedule. I fear that Christmas and the new year will set me back again, but I'll just have to deal with it!

New video out this Friday. Sorry it's not an early release. I was up until midnight finishing it up last night. What up mini family?! Long time, no see. That's entirely my fault. So is the fact that the early release videos aren't coming out on time. Let's back it up and explain what's going on. Early Release & Thank You

Slowly but surely I'm catching up with being a week ahead of my release schedule thanks to the help from Jon! I'd also like to apologize for skipping the BTS post this week. I was so wrapped up with shooting and editing Jon's video that I just never ended up writing one. With Thanksgiving fast approaching, hopefully I am able to finish the majority of my shooting for the next video so I can edit while I'm not busy with family.

I need your help

I have a goal to making YouTube my full time job by March 2019, so I'm always thinking about ways that I can be better, open up additional revenue streams and whatnot (this is not a cry for money). This month of reviewing gear and recommending it is an opportunity to boost my income through amazon associates, hopefully permanently. Another idea I've had is PDFs of miniatures that I paint. 

My biggest problem with doing something like a PDF guide is that I don't want to send the wrong mess...

What up, mini family?! 

I'm a few days late here on the BTS post. Sorry about that. I've been hustling to finish this Primer comparison video. It came right down to the wire and I finished the video Thursday night, started the export and went to sleep. I then woke up Friday to discover that Premiere Pro has uploaded my video publicly and over 2,000 people have already seen it. Talk about an alarm clock!

What up mini family!?

The table is SO close to being done. It's all I've been working on in my waking hours. 

Last I left you I was assembling the legs of the table and their aprons. They are now fully together and slot in quite nicely with the table. I failed to explain how I did the joinery though, so let's go over that.

I am GRINDING on this table non-stop. It is such a slog! I had to make another trip to home depot (this would be like my 16th one) to pick up some more materials because I'm a doofus.

This past week has been all about carpentry and getting the pick up shots for my short film coming out on Halloween! 

On the 7th of October I got together with my buddy who was acting as effectively my director of photography and we picked up all the shots on my shot list. We had to to do it ASAP because the house we shot it in (a friend of mine's) is being sold by the person he's renting it from. We actually had to fit our schedule in with some showings!...
