Hello everyone!
I hope you are all doing ok! Once again we find ourselves at the middle of another month and take a brief moment to ponder "Where has the time gone?". ~~~ Alright, moment over. I've got a TON of goodies to share with you all this month. 50 pages of sketchbook drawings, 28 pieces of process pictures, and a brand new wallpaper! It's been a busy month and it's only getting busier. Hang in there, you're doing a great job!
To access this month's rewards, all you have to do is ...

Hello everyone!
Hope you are having a good start to your week so far! Remember how I said I was working on a calendar for 2018? Well, I've JUST finished the piece for February and I wanted to share it with you all! It's very Valentine's themed for sure, but I wanted to focus more on the getting together and sharing of love rather than the ~romance/teddy bears/chocolate~ spiel that companies force on us. I think it's just as important to tell your friends and close ones that you love and care a...

Hello everyone!
As promised, today I am sharing a walkthrough process of the Fight Like a Girl! series. This series primarily explores digital painting with a hint of graphic design and texture. So without further ado, let's dive right on into seeing how this series was made! :D
1) Sketch

I sketched this piece in my sketchbook then scanned it onto my computer. While ...

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to share with you a new series that I've been working on in the month of February. For each day of February I will draw a girl based on the changing of the moon phases. I've been posting them all to Twitter and Instagram where you can follow the series. Since I'm drawing these pieces on a daily basis, I won't be ...

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share this post again because the images from the previous posts didn't show up. I tried out a new photo sharing website and I think that's what caused the problem, but all the images should show up now! So I present to you the complete Fight Like a Girl series! <3

Hello everyone!
Hope you have all been doing well. <3 I wanted to share more pieces that I've recently completed for the Sailor Moon Fight Like a Girl series! It's been a lot of fun getting back into digital painting with a bit of graphic design elements mixed in. Getting the opportunity to draw these powerful and honestly, very very cool, women has been such a treat and I'm glad I get to pay tribute to a show I've loved since I was a kid.

Hi everyone!
We've made it, this is the final piece in the Overwatch ladies national food series! The final piece features Symmetra snacking on some somasas (how's that for alliteration?) in a chicly decorated apartment. Since Symmetra values order and balance, I thought it'd be nice to have those sentiments reflected in her environment as well!
Thank you so much for following me throughout this series and showing your interest, it means a lot to me. This series w...

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to share a new series of Overwatch guys to go with the series of Overwatch ladies I drew. I went in a different direction stylistically for the dudes because I felt like it fit the characters better. It was a lot of fun working in this graphic, lineless style and I think it helps them stand apart from the style in which I drew the ladies. Not only was it fun, but also a new challenge for me to draw so many guys. It was really cool exploring the various angle...

Hello everyone!
Hope you all have been doing alright. <3
I wanted to share with you the postcard art for this month's $10 patrons! As previously mentioned, the theme I'm following for this year's postcard rewards is headphones. Since this is for the month of February, I wanted to draw something overly sweet and sugary to celebrate Valentine's/Galentine's /Single Awareness/however you choose to celebrate it Day! I decided to go all out on the effects and just really have fun with...

Here's yet another piece in the continuing series of Overwatch ladies eating foods from their countries of origin! Today's piece features Tracer enjoying a simple Sunday roast in a relaxing and calm environment. A classic British meal fit for a classic British gal like Tracer! Tracer moves around quite a bit and what better way to get her energy back than to eat a nice filling meal? :D<...

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to show you another piece in the continuing Overwatch ladies national foods series! This piece features Sombra chowing down on a plate of tacos. Tacos are one of my favorite Mexican food (and I like a LOT of Mexican food...) and I would think Sombra enjoys them as well! Plus they're quick to make and practically portable, qualities she seems to value based on her quick-run and translocation abilities. :D
RIP to my E97 copic marker, this piece did q...

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to share a new series that I've been working on with you all! It features the girls from Sailor Moon and is called "Fight Like a Girl!". The first piece I've completed features Sailor Mars (she's my favorite) and I've already finished both Venus and Jupiter.
This idea has deviated quite a bit from the original idea I had for this series (SM portraits basically) and I'm happy with where its ended up. Sailor Moon routinely explores themes of female and ...

Here's another piece from the Overwatch ladies national foods series (whew what a name!) and this time it features Mercy! Since Mercy is from Switzerland I thought it perfect to have her enjoying a meal of melted raclette cheese laid on top of meat and potatoes. Doesn't that sound delicious albeit extremely filling? :D
Working in copics and ink has been fulfilling and challenging at the same time. There's a lot more planning involved, but the process is strangely...

Hi everyone!
Today's post is a Photoshop tutorial (yay!), but whether or not you have Photshop hopefully you can take away something useful! This method can be used in any digital painting program. The polyagonal tool is not a necessity, just a way to achieve sharp angles and lines. If your program has a brush tool and an eraser tool, then you're good to go.
Now let's get into the tutorial! :D

Here's another piece I completed from the Overwatch national foods series this time featuring Mei! Xiao long bao is one of my favorite Chinese dishes. I thought it would be the perfect steamy food for Mei to enjoy as she's doing her research in freezing temperatures. >u<
All pieces in this series are done using copics and ink! ^^

Hi everyone!
The second piece in the Overwatch national foods series features Zarya! :D I haven't had Russian food before, but I did some research and found the lovely dish known as Piroshki. It consists of a fried bun with filling, usually meat or veggies, but can also contain fish or fuits! Either way it sounds delicious and I could see Zarya enjoying some as a quick snack during her downtime.

Hello everyone!
I've got some new art, hot off the presses to share with you all. I've finished the dudes from Overwatch and WOW does it feel good to be done! I will say, they are the most challenging characters I've drawn in awhile (I think Reinhardt gave me the most trouble...all that armor...), but I had a lot of fun drawing them regardless!
I'd like to make this series into stickers as well so that I can have a full set of both the dudes and gals in sticker form. I think it'd b...

Hello everyone!
Today I am here to share with you how I plan out my copic pieces! This process applies to any traditional medium that involves coloring in a sketch. It can be a daunting task, especially if you've spent a lot of time on your sketch and don't want to mess it up! These are the steps I take to make sure I know what I'm doing before I excitedly begin coloring my artwork. Feel free to try it out and see if it works for you! :D

It's been a solid month of on and off work, but I've finally completed the Overwatch ladies national food series! :D Each piece features a lady from Overwatch enjoying a food dish from their nation. This is the first time I've attempted filling an entire page with copics and I'm really jazzed with how it came out. I definitely made some mistakes, but I learned a lot AND had fun along the way. I'm so excited to share the pieces with you and I really hope you like them as m...

Hi everyone!
I'm currently working through the Overwatch guys and finished Genji and Hanzo yesterday! They're such serious boys, I had to put them in dramatic poses.

I'm having a lot of fun working in this style! It places more emphasis on shape and movement, which is always interesting to practice. I'm discovering that blocky shapes come to me more naturally than smooth, curvy lines do.
I'll keep...

Nothing of the sort, but I did promise more art and it's comin' down the pipes for ya. ;D I'm guessing most of you have seen the Overwatch ladies I did and finished recently. I had a lot of fun drawing them and I was gonna stop there, but a part of me was itchin' to draw the guys as well. And, well, that's what I'm doing now. Welcome back, I hope you have all been well! I've got a very fun collection of drawings, walkthroughs, and wallpapers for you this month. It's been awhile since I've drawn this much and I owe a big part of the artistic inspiration to Overwatch! The majority of the art this month centers around the characters from the game and I've had a lot of fun exploring different environments and character interactions.
