"A figure dances between piles of whirring clockwork and scattered blueprints. Her hands a blur as they tweak and twist a maze of gears that hum with life. Her eyes, wild with genius, snap up to catch yours, sparking with the thrill of the next great discovery."
Hey folks,
I recently started running the Pathfinder 2e campaign Outlaws of Alkenstar, and wanted some fitting music to act as a theme for the campaign.
Gears of Genius combines vast orchestral sounds alongside some ...

"Bow before me, you cretins!"
Hey folks,
This is a fun one! The God King is big choir theme suitable for royalty (especially the kind of royalty that love to crush peasent folk under their boot). It's a little over the top and very dramatic all the way through.
Bard Tier supporters have access to one alternate version of the track:
Brass + No Choir: The choir is replaced by a brass orchestra in this version, m...

"Gunsmoke fills the air as the relentless sound of flintlock fire echoes through the cobblestone streets, creating a symphony of chaos and desperation. Amidst this frenzy, you dart from shadow to shadow, each step a gamble against the unseen foes whose bullets sing death's whisper."
Hi folks!
Flintlock Frenzy is a combat track with a steampunk vibe, written in a similar style to the Dishonored and The Order: 1866 soundtracks. It uses aggressive strings, hammered dulcimer,...

"The air, rich with jasmine and tea, wraps you in tranquil enchantment. Ancient statues whisper tales amidst lush greenery; carved lanterns cast dancing shadows, silent riddles longing for a voice"
Hey folks!
I've had this library of Chinese instruments gathering dust on my hard drive, so I thought I'd have a go at writing something using it. I think it worked out nicely! 'Riddles in the Tea Garden' has a peaceful but slightly mysterious vibe. I'm happy with how the track...

"Within you, rage simmers like a beast in chains, every heartbeat stoking the fires of your fury until they roar uncontrollably, demanding release. With each swing of your weapon, the chains snap, unleashing a storm of wrath that knows no equal, transforming you into the very embodiment of destruction."
Hey folks,
Berserker's Rage is an intense combat track, with intense strings, distorted war horns, crunchy percussion, and rhythmic digeridoo.
This one was a b...

"We rested beneath the bones of a dead giant, it's eroded ribcage acting as the structure upon which we built our shelter. We looked out across the valley to mountains as sharp as filed teeth, where long ago the giants had roamed and warred. Now it was a graveyard, a memory of grandeur and strength turned to dust."
Hey folks!
I hope you all have had a lovely month. I'm capping off this month with 'Mayfalls', a track written for a new TTRPG setting book, 2024-02-28 21:16:46 +0000 UTC View Post

"Not all evil can be bested. Not all darkness can see light. Sometimes you must stand at sorrow's edge and turn away, for not all fights are there to be won."
Hey folks,
Ignore the mournful description, you got this! Just don't listen to this track when you want to sustain a good mood. Sorrow's Edge is a track all about balance between hope and sadness, the edge when light meats darkness.
I hope you enjoy listening.

"As you step into the alleyway, the city's incessant hum fades into a distant echo, replaced by the sound of your own footsteps echoing off the damp cobblestone. Thick fog rolls in from the unseen depths, swirling around dimly lit lampposts that barely penetrate the enveloping mist."
Hey folks,
I'm a huge fan of the City of Mist ttrpg, so when Bard tier supporter GM Bencompetence suggested a noir track for use in City of Mist games, I jumped at the chance...

"As the relentless sun dips below the horizon, your party enters the vast expanse of the desert. Here, the sands whisper ancient secrets, and mirages play tricks on the eyes, creating illusions of oases that vanish upon approach. A sense of unease fills the air, as if the very dunes are watching, shifting subtly under the ghostly glow of a crescent moon."
Hey folks,
Dark Mirage is a strange suspenseful track full of dark drones, mysterious voices, and hints of a desert la...

"You arrive in a canopy of ancient, towering trees which envelopes a small town. It's hard to differentiate between the natural and the manmade, as each quaint dwelling is shaped around the natural shape of the surrounding trees, lit by gentle lamp-light like flickering fireflies."
Hey folks!
Happy 2024! I've been enjoying being a new dad, so there hasn't been much music happening so far this year, but I did manage to work on this Forest Town track on and off. It's a gentle, mysti...

Hey folks!
I have some very exciting news... and it's not the album release! I HAVE A BABY!
He was born on New Years Eve and he's an absolute star. We love him so much and I can't wait to get his help pressing random notes on the keyboard to make more music. (apologies for the lack of photos - we decided not to post baby pictures in publicly accessible places online).
In other, far less exciting news, Tabletop RPG Music: Volume 18 is out! This contains tracks 171 - 180. Her...

"You stand before the remnants of an ancient kingdom, its once-majestic structures now reduced to crumbled stone and ivy-clad walls. Towering, fragmented pillars hint at a grand past, with faded frescoes peeking through the overgrowth. The air is heavy with the scent of old earth and whispers of forgotten lore, inviting you to unveil the mysteries hidden within these time-worn ruins."
Hey folks!
Still no baby! Any day now! In the meantime, here's a track I wrote a couple ...

"As the winter sun sets, casting a pale glow over the snow-covered landscape, you notice subtle movements in the shadows. Ethereal, fey creatures, with translucent wings and eyes like shimmering ice, flit silently among the snowdrifts, their presence almost imperceptible against the white expanse. The town, blanketed in a serene layer of snow, seems to hold its breath, as if aware of the magical beings hiding in plain sight, blending seamlessly with the winter's enchantment."

"As you gaze into the digital expanse, you see a mesmerizing sea of flickering lights, flowing and ebbing like a living entity. Each crest and trough is composed of countless glowing bits, oscillating between 0s and 1s in a hypnotic rhythm. The air hums with the soft, rhythmic pulsation of data, and the iridescent surface reflects a kaleidoscope of neon hues, an otherworldly spectacle of technological beauty."

"The jungle burns. Silhouetted figures move mercilessly through the dense floor, gouts of terrible flame shooting from their arms as each spell tears apart the natural world around them. Then, the mist comes, and with it, the haunting wails of the ancestors buried deep in the ground, their bodies feeding the grass and the trees. Their screams put out the flames, and send the spellcasters running for their lives."

"Beneath the ethereal glow of a luminous moon, the night is alive with a hushed magic. A rustic caravan sits idly by, its windows like watchful eyes, casting a warm amber light on the dew-laden grass. A campfire crackles with life, casting dancing shadows and a comforting warmth that tugs at the weary travellers' senses."

"There is a world beyond our own, a world of magic. Walk through the woods as the morning sun rises and you can see it, there beyond the trees."
Hey folks!
Happy to share a new track with you. "The Second World" is a quiet fantasy track with a slightly fae vibe.
I've used some animated artwork from James' RPG Art for the YouTube video. Highly recommend checking out his stuff.
"In the bustling town square, you face the infamous swashbuckler on a creaky dueling platform. His rapier gleams in the setting sun, and with a sly grin, he twirls it, pointing directly at you. The crowd's whispers grow louder, anticipation thick in the air. The duel is about to begin."
Hey folks!
Dance of Blades is a combat track with an unusual 9/8 time signature. Folkey string instruments lead the melody, with frame drums and bongos providing the rhythm. It should make...

Hi folks!
Bard tier supporter Mar The Naive sent me the coolest track suggestion, I couldn't not turn it into a track! They asked for "the song which keeps the world together... a harmonization sung by a group of cultists, which they believe (perhaps correctly) makes the world what it is, and would cause it to unrav...

Monstrous entities float, their forms and intentions beyond understanding. It's a place where reality fractures, and the very fabric of one's sanity is tested.
