String Player ARMYs React: V & Park Hyo Shin "Winter Ahead"!
This one's for the nerds. With chord progressions practically begging for analysis and funky rhythms we couldn't get enough of, we couldn't help but nerd out and go full music student mode when discussing this album. But, despite its complexity, ONF still manages to deliver an incredibly fun listening experience whether your theory-brain is turned on or off.

We had limited time to discuss this album (or we probably would've gone another hour just talking about vocal harmonies), but we hope you'll still enjoy our truncated opinions on Kiss of Life's "Lose Yourself." In this episode, Umu's inner Moomoo is reawakened by "Too Many Alex," Taya gets into her hot girl era with "Igloo," and Colton wonders if an album can be too polished for its own good.

I have moved another editor applicant onto the 2nd stage of our application process, and I think we found ourselves someone new to join our team, no? ;) She's trying out our editing style for the first time, so I can already see so much promise!
Our (part-time) editing team now consists of Kyanna, me, Andrea, Kelly, Madi, and occasionally, Colton, Nico and Camilla. If you're curious to see which editor worked on what project, their names will always be credited at the beginning & e...
Jennie's "Ruby" album finally dropped, but our Jennie 'ZEN' video was still blocked when I uploaded it this morning. However, I increased our copyright dispute to an appeal, and it seems it is viewable now (at least for the next 7 days while under review)! Hoping it stays that way...will post publicly on Patreon if it's deleted.

In this episode, the OG podcast crew reunites to rank the top 10 most streamed K-pop songs of 2024 (according to Circle's Global K-pop chart). Since they're the most popular songs of the year, surely they're the best songs of the year too, right? Welllll...you'll just have to listen to find out what we think! Make sure to leave your own ranking in the comments as well. We always love hearing everyone's opinions!

In this episode, Umu, Honor, and resident DIVE Helen break the record for most Kpop song references in a single podcast episode while discussing IVE's latest mini-album, "IVE EMPATHY." IVE make a few references themselves, interpolating Whitney Houston and Suzanne Vega to...varying degrees of success. But their tenacious self-confidence still shines through whether we love them or hate them (and we did love a lot of what we heard on this album!)
