Though DETOX Unit is trying her hardest to keep up with Carrier Gel in capturing exposed potential patients. DETOX has no combat capabilities against Carrier Gel, and while the goo golem rapidly ingests survivors through her navel port and infects them with a cocktail of diseases, DETOX can only capture and carry so many before Carrier Gel nabs them.
Carrier Gel's goo is breathable, and was originally intended on acting as a patient transport from infected areas to a quarantine, however...
