July Development Update

Hey folks! It's been quiet so I thought I'd just give a little update. I'm currently working on LegendKeeper's editor; it's the main source of bugs and jank right now, so it's about time it was polished up. I'm pleased with the progress so far. The new editor will:

June Development Update

Since Hydra launched, my main focus has been platform stability and quality of service. The past weeks I've been fixing bugs, and improving our error tracking infrastructure so that I can more easily find, diagnose, and remedy more bugs on my side of things. * Fix bug that causes wiki tree to crash/blank screen on dragging some items. (Some small action required if this is happening to you.)

If you have wiki pages that cause a blank screen or crash when you drag them, you'll need to sort the parent folder. This will reset any bugged position values; from there you should be able to drag those pages again.

You can sort the parent folder by right clicking and selecting the sort option. Sorry if this resets some of your manual positions....

Action required: Pages created via templates are currently bugged

Hi folks;

Discovered an issue with templates; they are currently bugged; please don't use them. I'll get a fix out for it as soon as I can.

If you have created any pages via templates, I encourage you to export/copy paste them outside of Legendkeeper to preserve their content. They will likely be okay, but I just wanna make sure your stuff is safe while I'm fixing this.

It's been nothing but bugfixes lately, so I figured it'd be fun to throw in a little something new.

* Custom image pins. You can now use images from your asset library as pin images. Animated GIFs work, as well. Small, square, transparent images work best. I'll be adding sizing controls in the future; right now they are locked to 80x80. I've found that icons available on the Unity or Unreal Engine asset store, intended for game development, work great for RPG map icons....

Per https://www.patreon.com/posts/legendkeeper-0-9-51860105, LegendKeeper now prohibits connections from clients with versions less than 0.9.0.5. If you are on a version less than 0.9.0.5, (found in the bottom right question mark menu), close all other instances of LK and shift + refresh to force update.

TL;DR: Tiny change in preparation for a larger one tomorrow, but requires some context. Starting tomorrow, I will be forbidding connections from clients that do not send their version number (i.e., any LK clients that aren't 0.9.0.5). LegendKeeper "Hydra" Progress Update #4

Allo! You may have received an email on Saturday regarding the Hydra (0.9) launch. I quietly launched Hydra on Saturday morning and monitored it for a while to make sure everything was good. Everything was looking amazing! Avast anti-virus false positive

Hey folks; I've had a few reports of the LK login page being blocked as a "phishing" risk by Avast Anti-virus. I've reported this false positive to both Avast, and Google, the hosting provider for the login domain.

While this is being sorted out, you can take a few steps in the meantime: You can stop using Avast because it's far past its prime ;P.
