Weekend event report and thoughts about the alpha tester tier

I used this weekend not for the events in case the player got "caught" by the AI. I rather created the normal "doing the tests" events in case the player wants to play the brave testing subject for the test level 1.
(Currently they are 3 test levels planned until the end of the minigame)

Along with the events (about 100 VN frames) i created several animations with a playtime of about 30 seconds.

Weekend running log

This weekend was comprimised of a little bit level building , fiddeling around with parameters and mostly scripting.

As you can see in the GIF above , i implemented the minigame "guard bots" which i plan to catch you if you are not stealthy enough around them.
But the enemy will not run as in my GIF they can only walk. I hope this makes the game a little bit more easier.

Weekend minigame log

This weekend (even with the family event ongoing) i was occupied with further modifiying the level for the third person spy minigame as well as generating a new machine for the game.

Unfortunately not much to say after that since i only had one day to pull this off >_<
I proceeded a tine little bit with the story but.. this is all. next weekend i will continue with more machines and the main game loop for the minigame (robots chasing after you)

Weeken log

This wekend was now really dedicated to continue the main story line. And as i mentioned a few posts back , i also played around with the 3rd person controller and the idea of a minigame inside the game where you can control one of the girls.

IN this case i was kind of occupied with the implementation since it has to work with all the other stuff which is already in the game. And furthermore , i also need a new level to play around with. (i just used one which came with a asset package...

Milky ways 0.70.1 (patched the one issue out)

Since i did not received much bug reports with the new experimental patch i decided to recompile every version (win , Linux, MAc) and upload it.

I just included the patch and no new content besides it.

Events in where girls can interact with each other.

Actually the events in which girls can interact with each other was planned for the beta release but since my time was (kind of) running out i dediced to implement this for the public beta.

I was also kind of afraid of this since it is a little.. much .. different from the system i had in AATOFL. I had to rewrite a good portion of the interaction seqment and debuged the whole weekend. The system is now a little bit more dynamic since one event can be executed by several different girls...

Malia is still missing >_<

This weekend i added the unique and generic events for the new machine you may find in the new part of the pirate base but only for Yukari and Maya. Malia is still missing and i need to implement her events next weekend.

Along with the new events for the pirate base i added over 350 VN frames which was more than i expected (this is Malias events are not done yet due to the massive amount of eventsi had to do and the features i wanted to built into the new machine)

Weekend level creation log

As stated last time , this weekend was dedicated to the level creation of the new part of the pirate base.  I also added some new events once i was done (about 50 vn frames or so)
...and i added a new clothing item which you may find in the new pirate base part xD

Next weekend i will concentrate on getting some more events into the new part of the pirate base as well as starting to implement the new machine.

Weekend animation log

This weekend weas reserved to generate the animations for the new machine i wanted to include and i was even faster done than i though.

So.. sicne the end of the beta has many adult scenes i can not include a good gif so... i hope this okay xD

Anyway , i finaly was able to make a good end of the beta  into the free roaming mode.
That means next weekend i will concentrate my work on the pirate base and maybe a little bit more generic events for this girls. (chastuty stuff needs to be implemented for example)

Weekend log

This weekend was a mixed weekend of generating VN frames and animation creating.

I added about 150 vn frames to the story and finished th dream secquence in which Malia is asked to wear a new suit which will..i will not tell since spoilers xD
(hehe i am evil :D)

Anyway , i also created several new animations for the not spoiled suit which i unfortunately only use in the dream sequence. And i also added some new animations for when girls like each other very much.

Current state of the game

So , this weekend i added about 200 Vn frames to the main story line and i am in the middle of a dream sequence during the night. After that night i will make a stop so that every girl is in free roaming mode and we have a decend end of the beta.

Then i will create the next part of the pirate base and one more machine the player can place.

This is the current state of affairs.

Busy weekend this one actually. I did many thingy and i saw that i really need to put in more frames than i actually wanted.  We are at 18300 now and since i really want to use the one clothign item that was gifted to me from Andrei (the special one) i need to implement at least a little scene with this thing.

Weekend story and script log (EDITED)

EDIT : i completly forgot to mention that i will not be able to do anything on the game next weekend since i will be attendening a Manga/anime convention as a voluntary helper.

This weekend was mostly about adding tothe main story and scripting.

Weekend report ritual

So we have gathered here to...

.. ahh nevermind .. i just tell you guys what i did xD

This weekend i was able to proceed with the story and after two weak weekends i was able to script in at least 150 VN frames. Currently we are sitting at 17700 and i would like to reach at last 18000 for the main story.

After the 18000 mark i will proceed to add one more part of the hidden pirate base and implement yet another machine. (this is the plan so far) and then... it is beta ti...

As stated last weekend , i wasn't really able to do much. But I managed to at least script Yukaris ability to change her... "you know what i mean" size. (just look at the picture , should be quite obvious)

Was not able to do that much this weekend due to a family event.
I added about 100 vn frames to the (main) story and also added a variant of the mouthspreader we already know. (the insert thingy)

Other than that not much to say. Next weekend is also the sunday occupied by a event so i doubt that i can make a big step in progess.

Weekend story log

This weekend mostly consisted of adding some events to the story as well as finaly utilizing the special harness. I added about 200 vn frames so it was kind of a successful weekend.

Other than that i had to fight with a little bug in the animation system , or rather not a bug but more "misunderstanding" with the animation speed after a crossfaded animation.

So... jep more work comming until i am finaly able to upload a new beta version.

This weekend i finished the animation i started last weekend (as seen in the picture) . It will be used for a dream sequence and maybe if people want it i will also create a generic version of it.

Furthermore i also added some other new animations (not much) and also added about 100 Vn frames for the story.

And... i received a clothing item from someone who is a fan of this game. You will later see it in game. I am just not really sure if i can implement this into the next updat...

Alright , this weekend was a little bit more "fulfilled" with creating some story as well as a new animation set for... something else.

Furthermore i also ported a special new "dress" or "suit" into the game which will be used later in the story. (a other item created by aloksaha0404 from fiverr)
And since i  do still need to create a story around this "dress" i will make a post about this later... maybe ^_^

But other than that... just business as usual.

Things specialy made for the game (this time not by me)

Actually what you currently see are completed Gigs from fiverr =)
I had some money over so i decided to order some specific items made for the game.
To be honest , the money was well spend as you can clearly see in the pictures. Far better than what i can do.

And i really need to mention those two gigs i used since they delivered such a damn good quality (in my mind at least) that i just ned to mention them here ^_^

The temptation of minigames...

It was just too high for me so i implemented a Dart throwing minigame BUT it is skipable ifyou want to.
Currently it is only implemented as a unique event with Malia and Maya where at one point the story they will play "strip dart" with you xD
(Yes.. the dart point are not accurate in "normal rules" terms  , it just adds more points the closer you are to the center)

So , this weekend i created all the animations for the newe device i presented in the previous post and i also implemented them into the game to use.

Furthermore i added a bit story for the whole thingy (Guess for whom xD) but i am not done with that yet.

I also want to try to implement a function which will let me control the speed of an animation but i first have to try how i can do this without much hassle and how i can use my already existing code to trigger those changes.<...
