As mentioned on twitter, this is the result of spending too much time looking at bikini-girl-in-mech-armor model kits. There are a whole damn lot of these things! Kotobukiya alone has something like three separate brands of them, and every single design is SO. HORNY. I can only dream of bringing that level of horniness to a project.

I must have been very tired when naming this last night, because the file is saved as 'robot fighty man' on my computer.

Honestly, his biggest problem is that the hockey mask doesn't provide proper eye protection.

We made it to the end of the year!! I am trying to think of a big, pretty illustration to do for December (since last month was such a wash). In the meantime, let's all hope that I can complete my pre-winter brush trimming without any unfortunate incidents involving camps and/or lakes.

This month was a ROUGH one. Spending two weeks out of commission is not how I was hoping to start things off, but we SEEM to be back on track now. Medication changes are not for the faint of heart, I guess.

The purpose of Vex's eyepatch is to shield all of the illegal sensor tech in his left eye from prying police drones, so he doesn't need to wear it when he's safe inside his fish lounge.

Demon fashion secrets

I have been sick for the past week--nothing to worry about, just adjusting to a new medication--but I have been doodling my new demon in the meantime. I decided he has some kind of spooky shadow king boyfriend, because then I can just draw swirlies and not actually design anything.

Oh no I'm making characters again

Edit: now in color haha oh no 8) I was going to use this color scheme for his big boyfriend, but I like it on him so much that I might keep it. Big ol 90s anime vibe.

I was going to do a riff on Morrigan and then I just...ended up with him and so I guess now I have yet another femme demon prince who likes getting destroyed by big thicc demon men. One of the nice things about drawing a lot of silly pretty demons is that you can go back and recycle stuff from your previous silly pretty demon designs (for example, I used the eye and mouth ornaments on a fallen angel drawing a billion years ago), thus continuing the silly pretty demon circle of life.

Also HI EVERYBODY, Halloween kicked me right onto my butt and I've spent most of the week just staring off into space, but I am finally drawing again! I don't know if any of you really MISSED my dumb monthly cat cartoons, but I'll probably do one for November anyway.

Halloween + 100 patron rewards

Hello!! My visiting family is finally gone (love them but omg), which means I can get back to work!! I won’t be able to release the Halloween pic a full week early here (because it isn’t done yet!!) but I will figure out something extra to do for you guys to make up for it.

Speaking of extra things!! I may be hitting 100 patrons in the next couple of months, and I would like to do something special for you all if/when that occurs! What would you like to see? An exclusive finished piece? Something else? If you have any ideas, please let me know!!
