This month been finally spent mostly on implementing gameplay elements, they're not really "there" yet but they're finally taking shape.

One of the most important things that was missing was the ability to remove things you placed and put it back in the inventory, so I can now add the rest of the decorations not fearing it'd be a mess to deal with after.

I really need to finish the auto updater portion of this project so you guys can get the game up to date by just opening it. Worked a lot on it this month but it's still far from done. :/

Also there isn't much of an update here due to awful bugs that apparently haven't been patched after the engine updrade.

Hey guys, I was hoping to add a cum button just for fun with the little bit of fluid simulation I got working but it turns out I may need a bit more work on that. Trying to get a good balance between cum looking simulations and performance, so as the release draws near, I decided to leave that out for now until it's working nicely to let you guys play around with that.

Progress updates

I've put some effort in these initial days on things like (performant) fluids simulation and fur rendering.

The GIF above is mostly proof of concept, not supposed to be or act like cum, but rather look like liquid of sorts, I'm still going to write (probably in C++) the actual simulation where viscosity and whatnot will be taken into account and also work in visuals (like transparency for instance).

I actually thought I still had the 31st to finish some touch ups but yeah.

For this release, like mentioned on the last post, a couple things changed so read the changelog carefully for the updates. Next release I'll be working more on in-game objectives and directions (as well as online updater) to make playing the game more streamlined.

Progress updates

As the stable release post is drawing near, some important changes need to be mentioned, the full changelog will be dropped along the game post.

All the F-keys have been removed except for the F12, which now bring up the debug menu with all options attached to those F-keys.

Crafting has been removed from the inventory menu and it's now a dedicated menu, accessed through the craft table, the item cannot be crafted (for now maybe) and is only given by the statue.

Man, okay, big progress on updating the engine to 4.3!

A LOT of the patches and workarounds could now be fully dropped, the lacky engine features are now working greatly out of the box, including navigation and manual, the entire state machine system and bone animation (for things like jiggle physics).

I'm still finishing ironing the changes out to make sure they work just as they did on past releases, but overall very happy with the results.

Unfortunatelly I basically ran out of time with this version, so it's being released as is with all the changes and temporary features added.
I set my goal too high for this month to have props based animations (like sex while sitting on a chair) but couldn't get it to work properly without redoing the animation logics.

Quick progress update

Hey guys, today should be the max day I'd be releasing a build with some cool new features and some new animations, unfortunately the new features will have to be delayed:

I was planning to add toys and sex while interacting with chairs or trees for this update, but I had a lot of trouble with the StateMachine I currently had from when I started the game and had to reworkd the whole thing, lots of crashes, visual bugs and things just stopping to work.

As the game development progresses and gameplay elements are being added here and there, the world will retain its sandbox-ish mode until it gets its win/lose conditions and progressions.

Alright, I took a bit with this one, but I'm REALLY happy I changed several things on the core, adding features are now going way smoother than before.

Some work is being done towards the NPCs, so they can now be assigned a place to stay and go inside during night time (or when they need rest in the future).

I'm also finally able to start paying someone to work on the NPCs personalities and write down different dialogs (kinda like a small visual novel) with different personalities...

FurryCamp Stable 0.351

Due to several changes to the core of the game, there have been reports that very old saves don't update correctly to the current version, it SHOULD work normally but just in case, you can back up your saves located at %appdata%/Furry Camp/saves.

We'll be working a bit more on the UI this coming month to keep hotkeys and such visible so you don't need to keep reading detailed info in changelogs all the time.

Eyo, just stopping by to say the stable release will be rescheduled to Monday Night, a couple planned features took longer than expected to work properly, also the game will attempt another save file update process on the next version so I'll leave a note for the release post on how to back up the saves in case you really want to.

Heck it's been a while!

As we moved towards adding the canine dick to the character, we came to several issues with our current implementation, the way we had it before was kind of a LEGO way to attach things, faking shadows so it'd look like part of the mesh, but this magic not only was breaking badly on some body types, but animations too, so we had to stop and rework the way we "assembled" the characters and thus a big chunk of this month was mostly spent in code that could "stitch" ...

I was really trying to pack this version with a couple more cool features, but since I was facing several breaking bugs with them, I decided to keep those out for this release or I couldn't release it as stable.

Progress updates

This month went by pretty quickly, unfortunately animation wise there hasn't been a whole lot added.

Mining is finally working, the break effect isn't there yet, there're also several minor fixes and performance improvements for the next build, a lot as been added and after a lot of testing, a stable build is finally coming out this week.

This won't be part of the next build but we've done some testing on fur rendering and it's quite promising, will most likely be a thing in futur...
