Experimenting

Doing something different in between stuff. I took out the ol sketchbook and pen, doodled some stuff I've been cooking up in the noggin, scanned it, and then imported it into Krita to mess around with colors. I dunno, I feel like after drawing this kind of body type I have arrived at a design that I like and is easy to remember. However, I don't feel 100% satisfied with coloration and color distribution. Might need to look at more stuff to get better ideas.

Yes and no.

As it turns out , there is still some infection left in my body which has still yet to leave. Medication ran out and instead of experiencing bliss, I've been experiencing fevers because of leftover infection. I went to the hospital to get checked out and make sure is nothing serious. Apparently I show signs of improvement and healing, ear is not swollen or clogged, its just a matter of extending the treatment period to completely eradicate the infection, hopefully.<...

A Quick Update

Greetings, everyone! Hope this finds you well.

I am happy to say that, so far, the worst has indeed passed. I am still not at 100%, but I am marginally better. Hearing has been restored to, I'd say, about 70% of what it used to be. The throbbing headaches are pretty much gone, and the feeling of blockage has been greatly reduced.

An Update Out of Space

Greetings, everyone! I hope that y'all had a good week!

I am slowly getting better. The past 3-4 days have been some of the worst in recent memory; the medication has gone into maximum overdrive pushing the infection out of my system, resulting in throbbing headaches that have rendered me immobile for hours at a time. Most of that time has been spent just passing out on the couch from pain while laying sideways.

Back Home

I am back from the ER, everyone.
So apparently the pain, loss of hearing, and the bloody ear are due to a sudden severe fungal infection in my left ear. While at the hospital, I was given strong antibiotics directly via vein. I have been given stronger medication to fight the infection and told to rest up.

Previous commission was also one I felt the need to redo. The original composition was something front facing inspired by the works of Frank Frazetta. Despite my best efforts early on, I couldn't make it work. Refusing to go through with it with something I wasn't pleased with, I redid the entire thing from a completely new perspective; which what you can see in the finished piece.
