Hello violet patrons!!! I did not get to finish today's Langwen page in time, so here's a process, full res, and psd (download below) of my latest Bailin and Li Yun illustration!
My line art illustrations processes are very very simple: sketch, line art, and then colour. A few colour adjustments here and there after. That's pretty much it! The details of each step are probably clearer in my psd, which I hope will be of help to you!

So as some of you already know, Bailin and Li Yun is on webtoon now and I have an agreement with the company to have regular updates. I need to fill in some of the time between Bailin and Li Yu meeting, and Li Yun leaving, so probably for the next three weeks that's what I'll be posting. This is the chapter for this coming Sunday, but my patreons get a preview of the chapter! I didn't have time to finish the last page, but a schedule is a schedule. Last page should be very cute! Hope you guys...

I'm aware that I'm drawing a whole other scene at the worst time xD what happened after the last page last week?? You ask. I swear I'm not doing this on purpose, I realized I've never drawn why he's called Bailin and there's a whole time skip in the comic which feels really abrupt after I put it on Webtoon, so timing wise it all came together with me having to draw this shot before I continue with our current timeline.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this regardless!

Nothing will fundamentally change for you! The pages I post will just be sliiiightly less finished wips (like the above).

CRIES I'M NOT DONE IN TIME... I'm going to try to finish this this week. But since it's wednesday I'll post what I have.
This was a little plot bunny I had in my head since the beginning of the inception of these two characters... I won't tell you the specifics in case details change, but it's a lil angsty. It won't be happening any time soon tho, this is a "plot point" in the farrrrr future...this is just something I've wanted to draw for a while. :D

The layers are a bit of a mess. The more I paint, the more I feel organizing layers actually holds me back from painting better, because part of my brain gets used up prioritising organization when I should focus on painting instead. If that makes sense. It could be different for everyone ofc, but that is why my psd layers are terrible these days. But generally going from bottom to top you'll see a bit of my process chronologically.
