Friday Night Lights 1X15: Blinders

I had a fairly difficult time discussing this episode. As a fairly privileged, old, white lady, there wasn't a ton I could speak to. And I think it would be disrespectful if I pretended I could. It certainly didn't keep me quiet, though. So many of the characters sucked in this episode. I did really love the protest at the end, too.

That said, I'm so excited about the possibility of Jason on the quad rugby team. I want him to shove this so hard in Buddy's face.

This episode was so much fun. I really, really enjoyed it. I loved having Noel be on the 'smart powder' again.

One Day 1X13: Episode 13

Are they trying to kill me?

They gave me happy Emma and Dexter. Then made them have a stupid fight. Then, a lovely makeup via phone messages. And then they have Emma GET HIT BY A CAR! And not only does she get hit by a car, she doesn't look good afterward. Like she very well may have stopped breathing!

I hate the fact that I don't get to see the finale for another two days. But also, I hate the fact that there is only one more episode.

Spinning Out 1X10: Kiss and Cry

UGH. I'm so annoyed. This show needed a second season. They went out of their way to set up (what I think was going to be) a good one, and then they went and canceled it. Grrrr.

That said, I think I'm happy with how Kat and Justin ended up, but everything else is a hot mess. Which, would have been great if I were getting another season.

I loved the scene at breakfast with Dasha, Kat, and Jen. I would have loved to see the three of them together more often.

We are absolutely not gonna have enough time to tie up all these ends. I'm so upset. Especially since so much shit came out/happened in this episode. Why would they do this to me?

So Kat really screwed over pretty much everyone during this manic episode. I feel terrible for them. I'm also going back and forth between: I shouldn't be mad at her, her illness is not her fault, and it is her responsibility to take her meds.

We made a bit of a tweak to Friday Night Lights. Just to make the schedule a little more balanced. So, instead of Thursday and Friday, it's now Tuesday and Thursday.

I don't even know what to say. The amount of fucking shit that Fiona has to do/put up with just to keep these kids is absolutely astounding. Hats off to her. So much happened in this episode! And so much of it was incredible!

We finally came back to the Batman costume, and I loved the way it played out.
