This was super enjoyable. I cannot believe I've never seen it. It totally seems like something I would have (should have) watched!

Book to Screen Movie

So next week, I'll be doing the first of our book-to-screen movie reactions that will be coming out twice a month in addition to True Blood.

Anything you guys are interested in more than others?

Better Call Saul 3X7: Expenses

And baseball card guy is back in the picture. Actually, this is a pretty ingenious way to off Hector. But trust Mike, to come up with a way to make the plan better.

I'm almost glad that Jimmy is going out of his way to fuck over Chuck. But seeing as Kim is struggling with her part in Chuck's meltdown, I imagine she and Jimmy are not going to see this the same way.

Super curious as to how Jimmy is going to continue paying for this office space. We've gotta start some cons soon, rig...

One Tree Hill 2X18: The Lonesome Road

For someone who's been complaining they were not interested in Jake's custody battle, I sure was interested in this episode.

Also, I'm super pissed at Taylor. She's been acting like this since she found out Haley was married. Why is she acting like this? I hate it. I'm also not thrilled with Nathan either, but he hasn't been like this since they met.

So, now both Felix and Anna are gone. I was just starting to like Anna, too.

And most importantly, the Dan/Lucas show down is ...

Shameless 2X12: Fiona Interrupted

Eh, I felt like this was fairly underwhelming for a season finale. 

Also, it was too sweet and nice. Where is my dysfunction?

That said, I cannot believe the cops were just like, 'Yeah, sure, keep the baby you just kidnapped.' Lol.

Better Call Saul 3X2: Off Brand

And we get our first appearance of Saul! I don't know what this means going forward, but we got it today.

This was not my favorite episode. It was fine. But I I'm more interested in how the rest of this season is gonna go. 

Felicity 2X18: Party Lines

This was not my favorite episode. It was fine, but I don't feel like we're getting a lot from the other characters right now.

That said, Felicity and Ben are totally getting back together, aren't they?

Book to Screen Poll Winners!

I get really rambly during the discussion. 

I'm super concerned about where we're going from here. So, Josh knows. And after some angst, he came around. But it's only a matter of time before everyone finds out, right? Can she possibly keep this a secret for 7 seasons? (Side note: I just found out this show has 7 seasons?!?)

One Tree Hill 2X17: Something I Can Never Have

Was I the only one rooting for murder? Why did those employees have to drag Keith off of Dan? How has he not had multiple attempts on his life? Are you guys tired of my hatred of him yet?

This was so not the reunion I was hoping for with Nathan and Haley. It's probably fairly realistic, though. But that doesn't make it any more enjoyable to watch.

Is Felix really gone? Fingers crossed.

Also, I really don't care about Jake and his custody. I don't know if it's because I hate ...

Shameless 2X11: Just Like the Pilgrims Intended

I think Frank really, truly does love Monica. I didn't think he was capable of loving anyone who wasn't himself.

And why was everyone so excited for this baby? None of them were getting to keep it.

Monica really needs to get back on her meds. She's a danger to everyone right now.

Also, Sheila and Jody STOLE THE BABY. Seriously?

Um, there are zero astronauts in this show. Oops.

That said, it's gonna be super fun watching me try to figure out where we are at any given time. 

This is going to be a hell of a ride. I can tell already.

And everything just exploded. 

Friday Night Lights 1X7: Homecoming

So all Riggins needed to do to be a good football player is not be drunk and actually try. No wonder his brother has been pissed about how he's been acting. He can do so much more.

That one hug was enough for Jason to suspect the truth about Lyla and Tim? I mean he's right, but I'm not sure I buy that.

Poor Smash. What it must feel like to work your entire life for something and then get nervous and choke when you actually have a chance of achieving it.

Younger 1X11: Hot Mitzvah

Why is 'Hot Mitzvah' so difficult to say?

So both Kelsey and Thad have been cheating? Why are they even together?

I also did not know that book doctors were a thing. Perhaps if everything blows up, Liza will have a new potential career option.

Also, OMG. How are we just left there at the end?!?

Better Call Saul 3X5: Chicanery

Holy shit. I'm not entire sure what Jimmy accomplished about him not getting disbarred, but this was an awesome provocation of Chuck. And desperately needed. So, it really is all in his head. Which we sort of knew, but this just puts the nail in the coffin. Also, we finally figured out why Mike was taking those pictures.

I really loved the flashback in this episode.

One Tree Hill 2X15: Unopened Letter to the World

LUCAS FTW! We will take down Dan Scott if it kills us! I'm not sure if we should let other people in on this plan, though. Half the damn town probably wants to take down Dan. I'm sure we could use the help.

Ooh! Ooh! Maybe we are nearing the end of Felix! That party was so not for Brooke. And also, Brooke thinks she's gonna end up with someone like Mouth? I love Brooke more and more as time goes by. 

Younger 1X10: The Boy With the Dragon Tattoo

Oh, no. This just got real for both Liza and Josh in a hurry. Now the lies are permanent and painful!

And also, I feel terrible for both Liza and Kelsey about this book. How awful to be in this situation. Diana was a little to haughty about it for my liking, but again, Diana being a complex character is what makes her so interesting.

Shameless 2X10: A Great Cause

You just knew Fiona was gonna get screwed over by Monica. Heaven forbid she have just one thing for herself.

I'm not even sure I want to discuss Mandy and her father. But the fact that she thinks it's not that big a deal is heartbreaking.

Also, do we think Estefania's boyfriend is gonna kill Steve? What are the odds on that? At least attempted murder?

Better Call Saul 3X4: Sabrosito

Ugh. Not that this episode was bad, but I was feeling so proud of myself for not being confused. But hey, 2 plus seasons of understanding is pretty good for me!

That said, I later realized the opening was, in fact, a flashback. 

I don't think I mentioned this in the reaction, but I'm curious what Nachos end game is here. He's working with Hector, but also cool with Mike? I'm wondering if he's just 'afraid' of Hector. Or maybe it's a family thing? But he did try to off Tuco s...

Felicity 2X17: Docuventary II

I was very unhappy with Ben in this episode. It sort of feels like he's regressing. After he finally asked his mom for help last season, I thought it was a turning point for him, but it seems like he's falling back into some self sabotaging habits.

Also, I just want Javier in every episode.

One Tree Hill 2X14: The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows

Nathan! I know you are heartbroken right now, but you need to pull it together. That said, every episode should include Nathan punching Dan in the face.

Brooke and Mouth- together again. Huzzah! Also, that sock puppet was hilarious.

Haley. I'm really rooting for you to sort things out and come home.

Younger 1X9: I'm With Stupid

I'm honestly not sure how I feel here. I 100% don't think Josh is stupid. And I don't think Liza does either. Now. I'm not entirely sure how she felt before though. I'm thinking she probably just didn't put a lot of thought into it. And then she got really excited about the book and Josh wasn't interested in sharing in it with her.

Also, dodgeball as an adult sounds even worse than it did when I was a kid. Lol.

Replacing Heartstopper: Book to Screen

Somehow, Heartstopper is over. I'm devastated. I enjoyed watching the show so much!

But, until the next season starts, we have to replace it with something. 

I'm 100% open to suggestions for book-to-screen reactions. Most of the things I'm looking at right now are movies (I'm not a big movie watcher, so there are many more to choose from), but I love TV, so I'd prefer to do a series.

Do you guys have ideas that I've missed? I really wanted to do Looking for Alaska and ...

One Tree Hill 2X13: The Hero Dies in This One
