OH, apparently when you do certain things in the game it permanently* changes your character physically??? I guess becoming a unholy assassin ~changes you~

*you can change your character at any time to undo this, but it adds cool "flavor"

Made it to the royal capital!!!! It's been a mixed bag, on one hand there's a bunch of snowman dudes who blow trumpet bubbles at you, on the other hand there's huge patrols of knights with 100000000000 hp each

I actually found the enormous sentient pachinko balls kind of cute, but also they would kill anything in one hit, so they're not SO cute

I've never played Castlevania: Symphony of the Night but Ananth has, so I get to make Castlevania: Symphony of the Night jokes. Anyway this castle turned upside down and it was EXTREMELY COOL. I love it when games play with space in clever ways
