Several people mentioned how my tournament matches seemed messed up, and I agree with them. Not only did I skip several matchups, but I had written content that never gets touched upon later.
I added another chapter because I needed it to add more context to my story.

Happy new year! It's 2023, which means a lot of new stuff is happening on many fronts. I feel like each year has been a very mixed bag of good, bad, and what the fuck awful. We've had some good anime and new entertainment, but a lot of stuff happening IRL has been pretty horrific lately. However, with the new year comes new a anime season, new waifus to collect, new stories to write, etc. There's just a whole lot of new.
More and more people began arriving each day after the first day of the preliminaries. The stands that had once been filled only with participants had now gained a much wider audience.
