This is the last set to get all the basic cut-stone tiles out. In this release, we get the rectangular full risers , as well as a bunch of new floor tiles that have since been added to OpenLOCK after we started this process.
Specifically, we added EB (2x2, alternate port layout), EC (3x3, standard port layout), RB (4x...

We're really excited about this release. We've taken the strengths of OpenLOCK and made a flexible system for doing electrical tiles.
First, we have the Battery Base , which is an E 2x2 tile that contains a CR2032 battery, and can provide power to any number of the ports on the bottom (though I generally only power one).
Second, we have the 2017-02-22 23:50:41 +0000 UTC

Thanks for agreeing to beta test for me!
The Masterwork Tools backer site is almost ready. On this site, backers can:
- Vote on tile sets they want to see created
- Submit ideas for new styles/shapes/accessories for everyone to vote on
- Discuss Styles, Sets and Ideas
Eventually I would also like to make the site able to display tiles from other creators who have designed them to work with openforge and want them included with the main collec...

We've been experimenting with porting a crafting technique called Toner Transfer for use with 3d printing. This technique allows anyone to create stunning graphics on any flat surface of a 3d-printed object using pictures printed on laser printers.
Our first release using this technique uses mosaic floor tiles to really add flavor or pehaps some ancient mystery to your dungeons. We've included both standard OpenForge and OpenLOCK floor tiles in this release.
Go grab the...

We are closing in on having a full basic set of OpenLOCK tiles. Today we are filling in the diagonal and angled tiles. You can do some really interesting things with the angled tiles. Being able to change the direction of the squares by 45 degrees can really make building some dungeons much much easier.
As some of you may have noticed, we didn't do a release last week. I'll do a second release later this week to backfill. We've been hard at work on a custom w...

The pirate ship project is done! This final release gives us the forecastle, the poop deck, as well as a thing that contains all of the blender and openscad source.
There's plenty of places to go to from here with this. The masts can be extended with wooden dowels. There are mounting points for the rigging on the sides of the deck. The captain's quarters (along with any of the other quarters) can be outfited with furniture and such.
At least two of these dec...

As mentioned earlier today, we're getting the make-up release out for the week we missed earlier in december. This time around, we have released the full array of OpenLOCK rectangular half-height walls, as well as all of the rectangular floor segments in half-height sizes.
I've had a lot of requests lately for the half-height walls , as they solve some of the problems that DM Scotty's TileScapes fix (n...

We noticed a few weeks ago that Printable Scenery had updated OpenLOCK to 4.0, with a bunch of changes. They added a number of additional ports to ecisting walls, making tesselation easier and eliminating the need for a bunch of mirrored versions of walls. They also added a number of new tile sizes for floors (EA-3x3, SA-3x1, SB-4x1) and walls (J-1x1, K-2.5x1, L-3x1, M-4x1, N-2x1).
We've gone through all the OpenForge OpenLOCK sets and updated them, adding in all the additiona...

This is installment four of the pirate ship. This week we release the main deck, where you’ll find the officers' and captain's quarters on the fore and aft, respectively.
This release was rough. I had two seperate printer outages this week, breaking my extruder and main board, hence the late release. Your support has made it easier for me to get the replacement parts I needed, so thank you all very much for being part of this project.

We've gotten a ton of positive feedback for the experimental support for OpenLOCK that I published a bit over a week ago. Well, now we are adding to that support. This week we are publishing most of what you would need to be able to use OpenLOCK with the vast majority of OpenForge 2.0 tiles. Further, we've added the ability to use OpenLOCK bases with the magnetic system.
We have produced a full set of bases that support OpenLOCK as well as magnets for all the styles now out t...

We are back from vacation, and I've got some more tudor external tiles for you. I'm continuing to round out the upper level of the tavern. We needed some diagonal tiles for the upper level of the front entrance. External diagonals are a tough problem. I considered a number of designs, bug finally went with this. It will work in any circumstance, but doesn't always create a clean diagonal surface. If it's a problem for some designs, let me know, and I'll make a second set that has the wall c...

I've gotten a lot of the tiles I printed finally painted for the inn. First floor is nearly done. I've got a bunch of my own designs in there for tables and ovens and so on, but there's a bunch of stuff in there right now from Paizo, Dwarven Forge and Reaper. As I keep plowing forward, I want to make sure everything in the inn can be printed, even if it's just me pointing people to other things on thingiverse that fit the bill. I created this some time ago but never released it. Given that I'm busy updating all the Tudor external tiles to the newer version, this seemed like a good time to finally release the gatehouse and barbican.
This is in the style of the older OpenForge 1.0 stone series (including that it's an "edge" tile). Still, it's one of my favorite pieces, and I'm super excited to get it out for the world to see. I've updated the gatehouse to work with the OpenForge 2.0 style bases. This piece ...
