It's that time again, get your votes in.
Also, I added a discord server at the request of some of the patrons. If you have discord, you should have gotten automatically added to the server. If you don't, get a discord account and you can chat with us there. I've never managed a discord server before, so recommendations are welcome.

Whoops, last release was floors, but the title was wrong :-|. Here we've got the separate walls for the dungeon stone ruined set, completing the basics. There's a ton of variation in here.
Beyond that, I went ahead and added infinitylock to the dungeon stone walls, and added in a 1x and 4x ruined wall to the wall on tile set as well. You can find all that in the dropbox.

Now we move on to continuing getting the basics of the Dungeon Stone Ruined set banged out. Here we've got the full set of primary floors.

The traditional secret door wouldn't work well for Towne tiles, as the seam would be visible. So we nave this set, where the whole wall can be removed. As a side note, these secret doors also make for towne walls that are much faster to paint because you don't have to do the painting with quite so much care.
The base and the wall inserts do have holes for magnets, but it snaps well enough that there's no real need for them unless you find yours is somewhat loose.
Thing...

A while back Evan made a small Dark Elf Watchtower, and recently he made a Bandit Watchtower -- both were fun OpenForge projects and were popular, so I decided to continue the trend!
This release is a small Dwarven Watchtower - just big enough for one man (or dwarf) to keep an eye on things with a better vantage point, which ...

Following up on the ruined floor and wall pieces, now we get the last release of 2020, ruined corners. The corners come in 8 variations (and you can print them mirrored to get another 8). They also have 17 corner segments that can be used with other dungeon stone corner segments to make more complex ruined corners, connected to say a door or window. Finally, they come with a set of floor variations, some with rubble on them on the mostly unusable half squares next to the wall.&nbs...

Following up on the ruined floor pieces, now we have the ruined walls. The walls come in 9 variations (and you can print them mirrored to get another 9). They also come with a set of floor variations, some with rubble on them on the mostly unusable half squares next to the wall. You can create a *ton* of variation in your ruins with these, including mixing them with non ruined tiles.

We have the start of a new set! As all other sets, Dungeon Stone Ruined starts with the humble floor. We've got the standard spread of floor tiles, along with a number of variations at 2x2, including 4 with varying amounts of rubble on them, and 4 different 2x2 tiles without rubble to create some visual variation.

Gonna be a bit of a release-o-thon today. First up, for Evan's final OpenForge release of 2020, he was inspired by ancient Celtic druid structures, like this one. This set is a modular "kit" to make any kind of similar circle/ruin structure.
There's a bunch of "upright" and "top" pieces, to make the arch stones (including variations with vines on them). These can be ...

It's been a long time coming, but Dungeon Stone now has all variants of tiles that other sets have, at least for wall and corner. The final one is the square window. The cut-stone window sill works well on some styles, but dungeon stone needed something that fit it's styling better, so I did some surgery on the square window texturing. Also, as a result, there's a few variations you can use, that pull in the window frames and shutters from the building facades set.

This has all the floors that you need for doing every other tile type with the new variant rough-stone floors. It's got cuts for walls, corners, curves and diagonals, as well as rebuilds of the rectangular door doorways.
The photos are of the floors, but this release is 37 different floor cuts along with 4 new doors using the new floor texture.
The winner of the vote from November was Cut-Stone Trap Door Floors. This set creates trap door floors, as well as floors for wall, corner, curved and diagonal wall tiles, as well as separate wall floors and curved floors.
Evan's got a new beauty for us. This is a project he has had in the back of his mind for a very long time! Today we bring you the "Modular Bandit Watchtowers" set.
This set allows you to build watchtowers, as the name implies (and essentially generic scaffolding systems). The watchtowers are designed to be relatively haphazard/roughly constructed with wood, nails, and leather/cloth. They are ~1.5x1.5" footprint, with enough size for a mini to fit comfortably in them without being ...

So you think to yourself, sure, those facade tiles are cool, but what about all the Towne tiles I have, what about all my Dungeon Stone? Well, we have an answer for you, Eaves, with and without corbels. This lets you use your existing 2 inch tall tiles the same way as the facade tiles for building awesome looking structures!
Beyond that, this release also includes the full set of stone-brick gables to make sure you can do any of the sizes with the gables while still fitting...

Continuing the progress made with the building released yesterday, I've expanded out the tile set to give a full set of variations and options to be able to build a wide variety of other buildings using the stone brick texture. All the files from the building are in the set, but now there's dozens of variants, including adding BA walls/doors/windows, and corbel or not corbel variants of every wa...

Finally we can get to the business of what all those roof releases were for: Building facades, in this case a stone-brick cottage. There's a couple special things about these tiles.
- These tiles are half an inch taller than the normal two inch tiles, because the standard dungeon tiles when stacked frankly look too short when next to a miniature. These tiles are designed to be able to create full buildings that will look good on the table next to your minis.
- Unl...

Evan has produced a great new model for us: The Sacrificial Dias
Here's what he has to say about it:
With only a few days left on my charitable Community (Treasure) Chest Volume 3 campaign, called "The Holy Order of Ash", I wanted to make a piece that could work with this set, but also be a great general purpose piece.
To that end, I created a sacrificial dai...

It's that time of month again. Last month Building Facades won, but in order to do that justice, I needed to understand how roofs were going to work, so I front loaded those, and still have a release or two focused on that. This month I intend to get the first facades out, and then create a list of interesting facades that we could do in the future.
Voting will close out in a week, let us know what you want to see!

Final release for roofs for the month. This time we get dormers with windows, as well as support blocks.
With the dormers, they are completely modular, so you can add them into a roof at positions you want them. The main way to do that is with the second item for the release, support blocks.
I'm pretty excited about what the support blocks enable.
First off, they make small components that get added into a roof like the dormers work, giving you the ability to a...

Well damn, I thought I had published to patreon the roof release yesterday, but I failed to hit submit :-/ Anyway, it's gone out today, along with now the second release for shingle roofs.
In the second release of shingle roofs, we have corner sections. These allow your roofs to do many new things:
- End in a slope on all sides instead of a gable
- Create pointed roofs of the types you would see on structures like guard towers
- Have roofs that can h...

The vote this month was to create building facades for the streets set, but I realized that before we could do that, we really needed a solution for roofs. I've been bouncing ideas around for literally years on how to do this, and so I started and put them to the test and ..... threw all those ideas out. I realized something on this design, that roofs are actually not as hard as I had built up in my mind. One can still design them based around the standard sizes we already work wi...

Evan has produced for us another fantastic release. Here's the deets in his words:
This is something I have wanted to make for a long time - any long-running DND group has surely spent some time traveling on rivers (and getting ambushed by water beasties) so I wanted to make a nice flat-bottom barge designed to work well for combat with minis, but also have plenty of room/options for decorating it to make it feel like a used barge. This river barge is modular - you can make a narr...

Dwarven Halls Low Tiles is something of an oddity in the voting structure. Dwarven Halls as a collection is something of a side show, drawing less attention than tile sets like Dungeon Stone, but inside the Dwarven Halls set, we have a tile that has recieved more votes than any other tile in OpenForge history - the low wall set. I've had something of a mental block on how to achieve this, and even attempted it once before but I just was not happy at all with the results, ...

Today we've got the separate wall edition of Grates and Portculli (Portcullises?). There's also jail type doors to go along with the rest.
I love this set, I think they can be used to make some really great set pieces in your dungeons or castles.

This is our first release trying out MMF for new releases. The patron vote for August was Dungeon Stone Separate Wall Arrow Slits. Because I've now added grates to the tile tree above arrow slits, I'll release both this month, expect to see that release next.
I would love some feedback on testing out MMF. Thingiverse has long been the center of the open source model culture, but there have been enough technology problems with Thingiverse over the past year that I...
