Sketching/lining this out right now. Decided to post a progress as a teaser!
I'll likely post this to tumblr on Friday in lieu of a comic, because I'm not going to try to compete with movie hype. Also, recent comics have all been 15-20 panels and it's hard to keep up.
I'll do my best to have a comic up on Patreon on the weekend anyway though.
(this is technically sorta spoiler-y because it's gonna show some reformations that aren't yet revealed in the comic, but....

This is the result of looping Hozier's From Eden about 13 times, but oh well.
Sometimes I like doing really loose gesture sketches, and I tried to keep the lines in a similar way instead of going for a cleaner style. Dunno if you guys like it.

Went to the beach with some friends yesterday and I've never regretted not bringing a waterproof camera case so much.
I enjoy swimming to the extreme - I'm not particularly good or fast, but I can tread water for hours, and that's literally just all I did. The beach we visit has such a cool underwater biome that I tried to commit to memory as much as possible, and this morning I sat down and painted this for the first time ever. I'm kiddin, White!Steven already has a neck. But I do like the idea of him being a lot more expressive in his hairstyles than Canon!Steven. He would absolutely be the kind of kid to get piercings and paint his nails. (This is, presumably, him at age 16-17.)
And eyyyyo shout out to the angry anon who called this AU a self-insert because with that haircut... Steven kinda does look like me! HAH!

This is a few sketches for an upcoming comic.
A lot of people have been eager to know whether I was going to get Steven into music at all. I wanted to give him a connection to music because, like the canon Steven, he IS musically inclined (but just doesn't know it).
