Since I finally finished drafting all the pages of the Season 3 opening comic, I feel like it's finally safe to promote Season 3 as an actual thing that will... someday... happen.

Hey guys, what's up and thank you as always for your immense support!
Back in January, Nintendo hosted an illustration contest for the Pokemon TCG. It was exclusive to people living in Japan, and as I'm lucky enough to qualify, I decided to go for it! (The picture above is just a mockup I did to test how well my colors would match with the card itself.)
The fun part is, even though the contest started back in January, I didn't know about it until... March 26th.

Reform Brainstorm Sketches
You guys have already seen some roughs for the gems, but I've got it narrowed down a little more now. Let me know what you think!
I was playing around with the idea of the gems having like... a Rose insignia on their clothes? Of course, a star would be fine as well, but since the star is a symbol specific to Rose's death/Steven's birth, I might make into the simple Rose design instead.

Much as I loved hearing how much you guys all loved the gems' new forms, I plan to have them reform soon. Along with new clothes, my initial plan was to give Amethyst her longer haired look back. There's even a tiny bit of foreshadowing for it in the comic.
BUT! Do you guys have any strong opinions about this?
