I think I should have been born in the days that practically every movie, book or magazine had artwork on or in it, just like I like, but I was much too late for that. Still, it's nice to do a mock cover once in a while for some horror or fantasy novel, try fitting perspectives and wild expressions. I would like to dive into that realm, perhaps by making a book but I doubt that it would sell.

Body Paint (XL)

Those that have browsed my work on Deviant Art might know already how I feel about tattoos. I like body painting much much more, just because it can be removed easily and quickly, adapted to any occasion, and an artist does not have to work around it or repaint someone else's handiwork (which is what you do when you draw actual tattoos in someone's portrait). So; bodypaint YAY! Tattoo NAY :D  Mind you; To each their own. They're a majority now anyway.

It is a nice change from all those serial paintings of late and I worked on this while alternating with the paintings just demanding to be extended to more. And while I post this I'm working on a vampire picture that looks like it should be more than just the one version as well. The problem with that type of story telling is that it takes a lot more time than just...

Who said I'm doing the same thing over and over again? Ha, nobody did (so far).
I let my (mostly drty) mind roam wherever it likes and that makes for a pretty wide and diverse range of (usually drty) scenes.

I know this might really be an enjoyable thing for some (maybe differently than this, but still...) but I never had the inclination to paint it. Until this scene stumbled into my mind. And I did not even drink (that much) :D

I started with the lady on the right just to try and make creative use of the edge of the picture and then the other lady walked in because without her the picture would be pretty empty. One thing lead to another and here we are.

Faunsx (XL)

Doesn't that title sound like something you do with a phone? Yet there's no phone to be found anywhere in these woods. I like titles like that a lot. It might even cause new paintings because my imagination is sparked (again).

Without phone navigation it's so easy to get lost in these woods and you could come across the creatures that live there but are rarely seen. Strange and intriguing creatures with.. ehrr...nevermind...
