Coven (originals)

This definitely deserved some time to get it up to my current code. It is more complex than one would expect and even though I spent too much time on it back in 2011 or something, it's still worth more time in 2020. RIght?

Again; it's not perfect, but it never is.

I think I started out to make it something about wild nuns because it's titled Convent originally, but I went witches instead. Much more likely that this would happen with witches right? Nuns all being over 80 and stuff ...

Jungle Queen Redo (XL)

Here's one originating in 2011. I love what that new Wacom tablet allows me to do but I also have to be careful to not overdo it. I can go into so much more detail but at some point it kills all the spontaneity of it. I had to go back to the original a couple of times and try again when it turned out I did that. Now it is actually better than the original in my opinion, but that may be a matter of personal taste. I especially like the higher level of detail. It did (again) take much longer th...

Lets not forget this one from 2013. Only 7 years old but I changed the heck out of it, although the basic elements are still there. While I was at it I made a wilder version of the Barbarian dude and an even wilder, yet funny, version (if you dig my sense of humour of course).

This is a severely erotic comic I am painting a page for every month. There’s only a rough storyline, that I won’t disclose, to have some guidance, but I try to spontaneously go with the flow otherwise. It isn’t yet perfect. I paint quickly to not lose momentum and will clean it up when it’s done. I’m not sure how many pages it will be but I’m aiming for a basic 44.

Tarzan Sketch

These type of images are the hardest to paint. Close and intimate but with enough tension and promise of action to make it interesting enough.

Actually I painted one right before this one, just on a whim and to try out if what I saw would look good, only two days ago, but it didn't turn out as I wanted at all, so I had to toss it. I'll do a Tarzan image nonetheless. This sketch looks more promising but that doesn't mean anything. I can still mess it up. It is challenging.

Okay, I don't really need all Patrons to want this belated Halloween thing posted, just one or two sufficed. Most Patrons don't like to say anything anyway, and that's totally alright.
I'll just consider this as being a bit early for Halloween 2021. Look away if you're allergic to all Halloween related stuff. And see a doctor, perhaps? Because...really....What's not to like about the more mature version :D

This may seem simpler than the barbarian wallpaper but it definitely is not. The closeness and intimacy poses its own challenges and then censoring it back, to an acceptable level, poses another. But that makes this so much fun. If it were easier or less divers I might have switched to other subjects or maybe even something else to do, but I still learn new ways of seeing and recording. I genuinely love it.
