Just a single lonely chapter this time, largely for pacing reasons. The next will be Saturday, or possibly pushed to Sunday, and after that, I'm not sure (though writing has been going well lately, at least in terms of output).
New chapters! Two more are written and will be a part of this "set", separated for reasons that should be obvious once you read them. (I'm also writing as I edit, which I think helps keep energy up, and in theory reduces downtime between chapters.)

Release "schedule" for the next few chapters will be a little bit different. The next six chapters after these two are written but not edited, so should be out relatively fast, divided into (what are hopefully) coherent narrative chunks that give better pacing than if all eight were out at once.

Here, finally, are some chapters. Schedule is a bit weird here, mostly because I got sick twice while writing these, with the latter time developing into bronchitis. Writing while sick is a bit of a poor proposition, since the words will come, but they'll take more time and effort to edit, and sometimes I'll have to scrap things that I thought were a good idea while barely functional.

No, it's not some chapters (sorry), but the worldbuilding doc is "done", though I would probably have doubled its length if I had let scope creep happen. It clocks in at 43K words (the "brief" is tongue-in-cheek).
