KoD Release on October 7

We put the headline right at the top, so no more need to speculate! We have back all the reports from testers now, so we feel confident saying that we can release KoD 0.3.0 on October 7th for 15$+ backers and the public release for everyone 1 week later!

This one took longer than expected because of the amount of content. We went bigger, breaking our records for scene length... three times, actually.  For context, most scenes in Noxian Nights were roughly 5-10 images long.

We just wanted to announce that version 0.3.0 has been sent to bugtesters! We're glad that we've managed to finish so much of it, but based on the usual testing cycle, the version is likely to be released fully in early October.

Release Pacing

As we finish major blocks of content for 0.2.0, our attention turns to the question of how frequently we should release new versions of the game.

It's a trade-off between development speed and community involvement. If we posted yearly, you guys wouldn't get much content and we wouldn't be able to incorporate your feedback. If we posted weekly, development would slow to a crawl and most releases would be buggy and incomplete.

Patreon Reward Tiers

 As we change over from focusing on NN to Kingdom of Deception, one of the things we're doing is changing the reward tiers.  The old tiers were made for NN, where the default resolution is low. Since KoD has a much higher resolution, it made more sense for us to give more patrons the largest resolution as a reward.  

Most of the tiers will be staying the same, but there will be a few changes:

Finished Outfits

For this weeks update we decided to show you the finished patron pick outfits.

Both the slave and barmaid clothing will be used in the duration of the game in quests, story missions and mechanics. We used the top voted design suggested by Dalith for the orc slave armor.
