A special commission for my friend, Shannon, who will be working on a cosplay of their Bleach character! It's been a lot of fun to do and can't wait to show them the finished piece! C:

DBZ art dump

Here are some of the pieces I've been doing here and there. Dragonball has been a long time fav of mine so when I don't have the motivation to do much else I tend to go back to my DBZ ocs. I'm also getting used to the new design I gave Agra xD I keep forgetting what she looks like and I have to look up the ref sheets I made :B

Just want to let my patrons know I'll be taking a short trip which is why I've fallen behind on regular posting. Expect more art soon though!

Marker practice

Years back I would find a piece and copy it and color it with my markers as a way to practice and learn techniques. This was a duplicate of a manga splash page in Bleach. I thought the composition was interesting and would be a challenge to copy!

I was especially proud how I blended the markers when coloring the sword reflections.

Christmas with Bleach

Now this was a series I got into to impress people which didn't last long. I had a group of friends who were moving onto Bleach and drawing Bleach and to keep up with them I started buying the books and tried to show an earnest interest but I couldn't get into their circle so I left. It sucked and because of that I never saw this show in a positive light!

A group of cool people

I don't know who this was for but it was a request for another person on DevArt. I used to do these sketch sessions on Mondays which were a lot of fun!

If I get enough patrons here I would like to do that again!

Now THIS is an old piece of art. This was when I was getting into the Naruto fandom though it was rare of me to draw fanart of the canon characters in anything I took interest in XD it was always OCs since that gave me room to be creative without stepping on toes in the fandom.

Desdemona

As a kid Des started out as Demona (because Gargoyles was airing at the time) who was banished because she was an ice breather. I shipped her with Draco but I never really did much to insert her into the actual story. I just made tons of AU's 😄

I like to joke about how Dragonheart 2 made me feel validated when they brought up Drake's ice lung and a dragon's ability to breathe ice.

Dragon shapes!

One of my recent hang ips with my art is I never feel satisfied with my sketches. Ive been trying all sorts of stuff from pencils, pens, paints, markers and digital and I feel "Eh" at best haha

Which is weird because I love looking at sketches of other artist's. It's a cool insight to their thought process. Which might explain why I feel this way, there's nothing in my noggin worth sharing!

But I don't mean for this go be all negative. These were some sketches i've been working on...

Drawing ideas

In an effort to keep active here I wanted to share some drawing ideas I had.

Lately I have been in a mood to draw old OC's I never had a chance to talk about before (usually due to embarrassment or not finding a community/outlet to do so)

I've been hopping back and forth between a character from Final Fantasy VII and my first fan made character from Dragonheart. Hopefully I can upload both old and new art of them here C:

Blitz Girls

I did a picture for a friend, who went by Go-chan, of our characters dressed up as blitzball players C:

Dragonball X

It was short lived but I did a DBZ/Final Fantasy X crossover and I'm still pleased with how these sketches look!

Catrina

This was the main character of that fanfic. I don't remember much of what their character was like, sadly but I did enjoy the design C: Simple and elegant!

Heart of a Saiyan

I drew this for one of the first friends I made when I was introduced to the world wide web XD They were working on a fanfic called the Heart of a Saiyan (dont recall if they ever finished) about their characters in the future timeline. I remember being so proud of it, and I user a quarter to outline the dragonballs haha 😄

First steps

I wanted to learn the DBZ style so badly I copied everything I could. Record and pause my vhs tapes, print off pics online and just draw, draw, DRAW. I was also trying to be cool with a signature, calling myself Agra19 and Durai at one point :p

High school folders

In my art classes during high school there was one teacher who gave us folders to save our work in. We could decorate them any way we like and the nerd that I was went with Dragonball! This one was in 1999 (GOOD LORD)

Followed by my sophmore, junior and senior year folders. My freshman one is still my fav because I was so ambitious :3

No more tiers

So as mentioned in my last post, I felt that tier rewards weren't fair since I haven't been as active, especially not enough to create worthy stuff for my higher rewards.

So I'm getting rid of them and having one simple "tip jar/pay what you think is fair"option. That can be a dollar, five, or more, whatever you are willing to pay. And in return, all of my posts will be open to every patron who joins C:

Things have been busy and hectic, and Ive felt bad that I haven't been putting content here for a couple of months. I realized that doing tier rewards is not the best method so after the holidays I was going to change it again to something suitable and more fair!

Inktober 2019: Day 1 - Ring

Day one was Ring so I thought of Midgar as a whole. I was planning on doing rough ballpoint sketches with a splash of color rather than do a big finished piece. Lately Ive been having trouble finishing stuff so I wanted to try something a bit easier! The past two years were fun but I did stress a lot on making a huge completed picture everyday.

Inktober begins!

Another year another challenge. While I did finish last years inktober I was awful with uploading them here dude to rea life issues. I can't promise Ill post all of this years prompts but I'll do my best to upload what I can.

Krogan face tutorial thingie

I was making this ste by step breakdown of how I drew krogan mostly as a way to find new ways to approach it. Lately I have not been satisfied with my style but doing step by step things like this can be a fun refresher!

More Kankuro and Kaori

I don't know if I ever gave them a ship name like ShiNomi. But while looking up references I learned Michael Linsday, the english VA for Kankuro passed away recently so it spurred me on to doodle stuff. He was one of my fav characters :(
