Bea illustration WIP update

Just a quick update on the Bea illustration, mostly tightening the details and adjusting the side pokemon to be able to show more of them and fit in a little better. I'll be doing the cleaner lines next!

Bea Team, illustration WIP

I liked so many of Bea's team that I wanted to try to include them pin the image. Kinda going for a thangka mural kind of look, particularly the ring of fists leading to Bea.

The rest of the team does end up a bit cramped, and I'll have to do something to do them justice in the future. Decided to go for the large faces to make it easier to see.

I'll be adjusting and refining this as I put it together, but that's the approach I'm thinking for now.

Morrigan vs B. B. Hood illustration thumbnails

Hello patrons!

Here is an update on the second Darkstalkers illustration. I have put together thumbnails/sketches for the composition. The concept is basically the same throughout- some sort of implied mid-air fighting, involving B.B. Hood shooting at Morrigan, probably hitting her wings which are turning into bats, and Morrigan doing something somewhat reminiscient of Finishing Shower. Hsien-ko Illustration WIP sketches

Here are sketches of the Hsien-ko illustration. It started as a drawing on my iPad. Initially, I was going to have it be that she was holding various foods, but changed it to her weaponry for the final image. Maybe I'll do something with food some other day, but it would have taken too long to figure all of that out while completing the illustration.

Bride of En illustration PSD and process videos

Here is the PSD version of the Bride of En illustration for the Visionary Tier backers. Also, I've attached the process videos to this post as well. There are 4, because of the way I had to put this together in the ipad, I ended up working with separate files per character.

To celebrate OC-tober, I've been posting some original characters and ideas on Twitter and IG. One of the images I posted was from a kitschy, pulpy swords and sorcery bikini armor idea of mine called "The Bride of En." Darkstalkers character poll winners!

Morrigan, BB Hood, and Hsien-ko all got the top poll numbers evenly!

I didn't expect a 3-way tie for the results! m(_)m But I think I have an idea that I will attempt.

Since I am about 2 illustrations behind on the polls, I will do two here, one of Morrigan vs BB Hood, and another for Hsien-ko.

I'll try to get both ready by the end of the month and finally be caught up.

Inosuke sketches!

Whew, finally! I apologize for the delay, but here are the Inosuke sketches. I'll be narrowing it down to one or two for the illustration, and/or a masked/unmasked version depending on if it looks good for the chosen pose.

Either way, he's fun to draw, though I guess I should try not to do so many sketches at once so as to be able to expidite the process.

River City Girls PSD and process video

Here's the PSD and process video of that Misako and Kyoko illustration. I used a photo reference heavily modified in order to do the background, it was an interesting process to mess around with in general.

I did some fanart of Kyoko and Misako while I'm waiting for the physical version of the game. It looks super cool, can't wait to try it out ! Tempted to get the digital version, but I can hold off for now, I think owo;

Inosuke - winner of character illustration poll

Here's a quick first doodle, but I'll definitely be doing more sketches / warm up / exploration. He's a fun character to draw- relatively simpler than the other Demon Slayer characters too, which is a bonus haha (though they are all great designs).

Either way, I may draw the other characters from the poll like last time, if I am able to squeeze it in.

Fallen Angel, KoolBody lol orz

I was drawing so many Angel sketches that I ended up doodling this Blackbody and Fallout cosplaying as Kula and Angel pic as well. Seemed like a fun pic, so kinda went overboard and colored it too.  I guess I occasionally enjoy doing these self indulgent Fallout-and-Blackbody-cosplaying-as-other-characters type pics m(_)m;

Angel Patreon Illustration!

So, I have like.. a lot of thumbnails of possible illustrations, but I wanted to make sure to get something done asap, so I chose one of the simpler ones to complete for now. That being said, there maaaay be more pics coming up soon, but I wanted to post something before the end of the month at least. And, if it turns out I'm falling short on time/ taking too long after all, I'll post the sketches. That one will probably be a rather large update.
