Skullgirls Mobile, Squigly Origin Story Illustration

Here's Squigly facing off against her mother Selene and father Roberto in the events 14 years ago. Family squabble going out of control lol. Other heroes of New Meridian at the time come to join the battle! 

One of the reasons for the delays on Patreon was due to work on SG Mobile. Which is cool, it's neat to be able to get more content  and work on stuff for Skullgirls in general. The illustration was done at a bit of a frantic pace, but it was fun to work on.

Nessa was a close second on the recent poll, and it made me realize that I hadn't posted the existing Nessa illustration I have on Patreon.

So, here's the one I did so far (though yes, what I meant was a new illustration for the poll of course, I had a few in plan that I was going to do if she won- I may still try to if time)

Angel- winner of character illustration poll

I'm going to do more sketches to choose from, but here are some initial drawings I have for Angel so far. She's fun to draw, I definitely will try some actiony stuff too.

It was a close poll and actually I kinda want to draw all of the other characters anyway too lol, but I will of course prioritize Angel first based on the poll results.

Hi guys!

Whew! Finally finished the character illustration from June, and will start on the July poll next. I'm sorry that it took so long and am currently still a bit behind, Anime Expo, SDCC, and freelance work after SDCC (primarily the SG Mobile Squigly Origin story art- check it out when you get a chance! I may post more of it on the Patreon as well) kept me backlogged pretty bad, but I should be able to catch up soon. I might be behind on August, but I'll try to catch up...

SDCC 50th Year Postcard!

I've always wanted an excuse to draw Fallout posing in front of the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant, due to the dumb visual gag element of its.. very distinct architecture lol. It's always a very noticeable landmark during the road trip from LA to San Diego, and seems thematically appropriate for Fallout in at least a couple of ways oho.

 I figured the 50th year anniversary of SDCC was as apprpriate of a time as any! 

Anyway, I'm posting the image in the Observer Tier for...

Out of the Spiderverse (up close character details)

I don't post enough for the Observers tier, so in the meantime I wanted to share some of the isolated character details of the Spiderverse piece. Since they were made from separate elements put together, each one is more or less a completed image (except for where the webbings cut off in some of them)- so I figured it might be neat to share that among my patrons.

Blackbody and Fallout colored sketches

Aiites, here's a doodle that went well beyond the time that should have been spent on it haha, nobody tell Saph that he's probably supposed to be dead by this point ;w; + alternate version. 

Can't wait to see this scene in full cinematic glory. I hope it has the same gravitas as the Old Snake vs Liquid Ocelot, or something from a platinum games sequence hehe.
