More than 600 new images for Week 8!

Hello people,

I have had my head down with the preparation of Week 8. Just counted the new images I have made.  Wow, more than 600! I have upgraded my graphics card and that has meant I could also redo a bunch of images from previous versions that were a bit grainy.  

Lots of words written too.  A Covid-19 lockdown is messing me up at present but I will find a way around it. I hope you are all coping with these strange times, and I will try to get...

I don’t want to pre-release any details of the plot for week 8, given the way week 7 ended. But I can say that cleanliness continues to be an interesting issue in the household!

V 0.8 is coming along well

Hi people,

Haven’t messaged you for a while, but I have been busy and week 8 is coming along well.  In particular I have just upgraded my computer’s graphic card and RAM and …OMG!... the images are so much easier to make now. About four times faster than my previous rig. I am even going back and redoing some old images that were grainy before. 

I won’t give you any plot details other than to say that much of week 8 is spent on trying to sort out Indi’s dilemma....

Boring update on sales tax

Hi Patrons,

Well, now that V 0.7 is out I can do some housekeeping.  One thing to advise you guys is that Patreon is obliged to make some changes regarding sales tax, which may affect some of your pledges.  Due to new laws passing in several countries and US states, Patreon will be required to start charging sales tax on some pledges starting July 1st.

V 0.7 is being loaded and debugged!

Just a quickie to say that I have loaded V 0.7 into Ren'py and am now doing the usual stuff:

- adding several thousand " " marks and letters, to show each line of dialogue and ascribe it to a particular character.

- tabs, at up to five levels, to cover the conditional loops.

Then I run it and debug it.  It could be boring work but actually I'm loving it,  'cos it means I will get the next release to you soon!  I don't have a date yet but will put in all the sp...

Some good news…..work on V 0.7 is happening a lot faster than it did on V 0.6 (Yeah it wouldn’t be hard!). I’ve finished over 200 new renders, and about 20,000 new words.

Making progress

Hi guys,

Hope you are enjoying version 0.6.  Week seven is coming along well and I am also working on the pop up statistics screens.  I hope to issue an update with screens and a walkthrough before V 0.7

Images are coming along as well - in this set you can see that when Jo has a high level of magic she realises that there are better things to do than gardening on a Sunday afternoon....

Showing magic levels

Hi people,

I’ve been chatting to a Patron about game stats, specifically the idea of having access to the magic levels as you play the game.  A lot of people like having the data available, while some prefer to “wing it” without the data. Time for a poll then, to see if there is a preference one way or the other.  I kind of like the third option (not that I know how to do it yet!).  What do you prefer?....

Season's Greetings

Hi guys,

Compliments of the season from Indi and me, and best wishes for 2020.

The beta testers still have V 0.6 and I will give them bit more time for comments before I release it to patrons. But it'll be out soon!

I've got free time at the moment so V 0.7 is coming along really well too – more than 150 new images already and over 10,000 words of text.  And a lot more in January!

Beta testing underway

Very pleased to announce that V 0.6 just went out to beta testers....watch this space dudes!!!

And so do I, because V 0.6 is finally loaded!  400 new images and over 30,000 words. 

Now I am debugging the overall game (over 18,000 lines of text and code) and checking all the "if"  statements and loops.  It'll take me a while and it's a pain in the brain, but it's important to get it right.

More good news.... I am making images for V 0.7 while I finish words and debug for V 0.6. Sixty new images so far folks !

Oh dear!

Indi is looking ready for something....something really nice.... but the real world has had me in its nasty claws over the past three weeks and I have not made very much progress with her or the others.  I’m sorry guys!

The good news is I am back into NM now, rendering and writing.  The coming months will give me lots of time to finish V0.6 then hit V0.7 in a big way, but I do not want to charge you for this October as I don’t feel I have earned it. So I will work out how ...

Nice dress Jo!

Jo is out on Saturday night and looking good! But where is she, who is she with and, perhaps most importantly to a lot of us, will that dress come off? 

You’ll find out when I issue V 0.6, and I am happy to say that is getting closer.  Images are now at around 95% complete and words at over 60% complete.  I better get back to it!

Don’t you love how Jo is keen to deal with even the hardest problem? I mean how many MILFs will give you a blow job in the filing room? That’s the kind of friendly, helpful attitude we should see a lot more of, don’t you think?!

I've been distracted by real world stuff for a week or so guys, but am getting back into NM 0.6 now.  Planning to have a good run at it over coming days!
