Here is the public release for V 0.5 of Naughty Magic. This covers week five, and the story continues on from the end of week four.
You will see this is called Part II. Why, you ask! Well, by the time I finished V 0.4 the game was so big it was becoming unstable when I worked on it. So for safety's sake I have set up V 0.5 in a new game called Part II.

Hi guys,
Update for you – it has taken forever to load and debug the game then test all the various pathways, but I think I am there! I am going to send it to beta testers in next day or two and once it gets the all clear from them I will share it with you. So sorry it has taken longer than I had hoped. Here is the new image for the main menu. Yep, I’m getting closer to pushing this baby out the door!
Version 0.5 has grown way beyond what I expected – close to 50,000 new words and over 500 new images. And the scary bit is there are several hundred “if” statements! I'm currently checking for continuity and bugs and still putting the little animations in (There are about 50 all up). Then it gets beta tested to make sure it’s spot-on.

General progress report on Version 0.5 guys… I now have more than 500 new images, and 35,000 new words. Still a handful of images to be made, and I’m around 75% complete on words and code, but I’ve started assembling it all in Ren’py.
We’re getting there!

There’s something really nice about Sara's sleepovers. Especially when there’s only one bed.
When Sara wakes up alongside sweet Indi, her thoughts turn to…..(open the attached wallpaper to see). Isn’t it nice to see Sara and Indi getting along!

A general post to say hi.
Some exciting statistics (no that isn't an oxymoron) - V 0.5 currently has more than 400 new images and more than 20,000 new words....so it's coming along pretty well!
V0.4 was pretty large as a game file, so for V0.5 I am planning to start a new game - kind of a chapter two sort of thing. It will carry on directly from the end of week four as you would hope, and it will have a waypoint at the beginning to allow you to sta...

Happy New Year guys,
It's been quiet in my real world and I've managed to start to upload text and code to Ren'py for V 0.4. This includes over 30,000 words, and something like 500 new images!
While coding V0.4 into Ren'py I have also been working on images for V0.5, so I now have more than 150 extra images done for week five.
And there is fun with Jo in the hot tub each week, as you can see....

Had a quiet patch on NM these past few weeks, with the real world getting in the way. But I am seeing some free time now and I'm grabbing it! ...to get V0.4 out to you and to render images for V0.5 while I finish coding V0.4.

One of the plots takes a particular turn in V 0.4 – and a new face appears. You were looking at her face, weren’t you! Won’t give you her name yet, but she is proving to be a lot of fun to blend into the storyline and images.

Secondly, you will all know that NM Gold is fully public. This is to be expected these days, although I did not release it (it is against Patreon’s Creator rules for a start, and we don’t want to upset ‘them’!)
