So, it turns out, the Noise attack was a distraction, as Hibiki's the Nehustan's target (for abduction), which makes me wonder what exactly makes her so special... the difference in strength between a complete relic & the fragments wielded by Tsubasa & Hibiki is unreal, it took a Superb Song to send her flying & force a retreat. I adore how this two-part storyline concluded, everything was connected by a single pair of jade earrings as it turns out... it was a truly beautiful and emotional moment to see the ghost of Xiaocui regain her sense of self upon the earrings being reunited, and seeing her beloved Guohao one final time before passing on.

FANTASY FARMERS ARE OP! Okay, so I decided to check out this series, as it did manage to pique my interest awhile back... and well, I don't know how I feel about it just yet. It was nothing spectacular, the characters don't exactly stand out, and the animation's about what I'd expect from this studio (not the greatest CGI whatsoever, that dragon was... something).

It was cool to see Nagomi resolve herself & actively fight, but much like this whole arc, it felt like it could have used more time to build it up properly... to make it hit all the harder, cause it felt sorta hollow. I said it before when it came to last week's "shock emotional scene" but rushing towards a plot point or conclusion only makes the story weaker as a result, I could've cared more about characters actions or deaths if I had spent more time with them.

AN ENEMY VALKYRIE?! A BROKEN PROMISE! It just makes me so undeniably happy to watch characters embrace anger and extreme violence, berserker states are so entertaining to behold, and Hibiki's scenes were exactly what I wanted.
