Recently, Bry and Fry discovered a very bad book: The Pope's Granddaughter, by James Truax. It presented itself as an "erotic mystery" that went "ultimately to Rome and the very private apartments of the Vatican, where the conspiracy finally comes to light."

We were in! So we gathered together the members of the conclave, and had a reading party. We weren't prepared for the utter level of trash ahead of us.

Things have been a little jumbled lately - I'm still dealing with car accident injuries, been sick for the last three weeks, and on top of that, my poor dog also got very sick and gave us quite a scare! So, we've fallen a little behind as far as updates go.

July Episode Announcement

As we announced before, this month there will be no antipope to review, but what we will be doing instead, is now decided! 

We have obtained a copy of the acclaimed VATICAN COOKBOOK, with favourite recipes from our last modern pontiffs and the swiss guard, and we will be choosing a few select recipes, making them (or attempting to), and then reviewing them! Shennanigans in the kitchen are coming!

Eulalius

Boniface's antipope, Eulalius, was the result of a sneakesneak jump election, which set the brash standard for the whole of his antipapacy. Dragging sick men out of bed, ignoring imperial orders, and pulling an Emperors-New-Groove definitely makes him our uppity-est antipope to date.

The humble and loyal deacon Ursinus was elected to the papacy at the exact same time as Pope Damasus. So much murder ensues, and some Luciferians show up!

This poor archdeacon was thrust in the middle of the ongoing war between the orthodox church and the Emperor, and he did not have a good time. He also did not have a good face.
