Detective BATMAN (2022 movie) - First Time Watching

Hello dear patrons,

My first ever issue with this new format, coming from Warner Bros 😅 They've blocked a total of 6 versions, plus 3 from the new editor that is learning.

Everything else will also be uploaded during the day and tomorrow: the previous episode of Obi-Wan and 2 episodes of Sarah Connor. That doesn't take away that I will watch the episodes pending for this week, plus a new watch-along for the next Rocky movie.

I still have a few things to upload before we can continue with the polls though: the next Marvel movie of Dr. Strange, available from tomorrow on Disney+ and the rest of the Rocky series.

This is technically the final version, but it has no intro. I received a copyright claim on my intro because the song was not remixed enough, so I made the silly test to check if, without it, it truly works, and the answer as you can see is: yes.

Tomorrow I'll re-edit my own intro: I'll either upload a new version or receive a positive answer from the music company, meaning it will be unblocked 😊

(Hopefully) Improved reaction format

Hello dear patrons!

Since not everybody uses Discord, I am posting this here as well: now that I started editing again, one constant question is "how many times do I have to re-edit due to copyright claims?"
So I decided to apply a new format for the upcoming watch-alongs:
1.) My room is not the main attention anymore.
2.) On YouTube, movie will be shown as in the picture (next to my camera. Sorry for the monkey face 🐒). If the dialogue is longer than according to the criteria of free copyright use, it will go in the background, blurred. This method reduces the number drastic cuts.
3.) Initially, the colors can be edited in such a way that my camera and the movie have the same pallete. I'm not a professional, but it's easier to apply.
4.) Movie won't go over my body.
5.) My camera stands over a cardboard because I want to design my own style for future content, regardless if it's movie reactions, or any other reaction.
6.) Small me in a circle with the movie in full screen is not an option: it always gets blocked, for it has to do with the Spanish copyright laws.

I would like to hear what do you think. Remember: being honest does not mean being rude. Constructive criticism is key.
Also, keep in mind that I am human and can not take everything into consideration. Saying "I'd prefer the cardboard to be black" does not mean I'll make it black necessarily, but I may consider it or whatever other idea comes out of it

This is hard to announce, so please bear with me

First of all, sorry for the long post.

STORY: A few hours ago I abruptly discovered my editor decided to not edit anymore. The funny thing is that we were chatting since Monday 16th about new videos, confirming he will have them finished by this week. He never started. One of the videos was due on the 23rd. He remained silent until I asked today what was with the delay.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: I have a job. YouTube was never my full-time job. When I started, I was editing everything all by myself. It meant +80h per week of total work (my engineer job, recording, editing, and streaming). I was mentally damaged and exhausted. I had a few tries with several editors, and I found someone who was amazing. Unfortunately, when my gains started to lower, his price was too high for me, so I continued only with one editor that I could afford, who performed great for the first 3 months. After that, issues emerged, but again: since I couldn't afford another editor I kept with him and tried my best to re-edit his versions before uploading them. Until now.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT MY YOUTUBE AND PATREON: full-lengths on Patreon should continue as per usual because I always edited these myself. But as for YouTube videos, I am currently searching for someone to help me out. If I can't find anybody due to my circumstance, I will start editing again myself, but I'll have to re-schedule, Patreon content included. Perhaps it will end up being something positive, but for now: I don't have content to share on YouTube or Early Access Patreon. Please be patient, for I am working on it and whatever happens, I'll be with YouTube content next week.

Minor issue with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Hello dear patrons!
I wanted to use a VPN to watch this series since it is unavailable in Spain. However, no matter what I tried, my debit card wasn't valid since it belongs to a Spanish bank account.

Solution? I bought the DVD version of the series. I never did such a thing, but it was necessary.

As you can see, it's supposed to arrive tomorrow, but tomorrow I am not home. I am trying to contact them but it's no use. I have no option to modify the deadline, and where I'll be tomorrow is not a house. Hopefully, it will come Monday, or hopefully, they will call, or hopefully, my parents (who live next door) will be home to grab it.

As soon as I have further notice I'll let you know.

Live reaction to Avatar and Surrogates

As for how the result indicates (https://www.patreon.com/posts/66190264 ), we'll watch both movies together, and most importantly, live! 😍

I continuously stream on Twitch from Monday to Thursday, starting between 8:30-9:00 PM (CEST time). This time I will stream on Discord (and YouTube, but please read the last paragraph): Avatar tomorrow (Friday) and Surrogates on Sunday at the same hour. The channel will only be available for your tiers, so make sure to link Patreon with your Discord account!!! The channel's name is Live reactions:

Here are the instructions on how to connect if you still haven't:

1. Log in to your Patreon account
2. Hover over your profile avatar to open the user menu (upper right corner of your screen)
3. Click on My profile settings from the menu
4. Click on Apps from the menu bar
5. Click the Connect button next to Discord under App Integrations
6. Enter the email address or phone number you use to log in with Discord and your password and click the Login button

Why Discord?

Because I can share both my screen and camera. It's like the old Messenger from early 2000 but improved. This way you don't have to try to synchronize. Since it has no monetary purpose and it's a private channel, unlike YouTube or Twitch, there is no infringement. Sounds too good? You might be right: the seats to the stream are limited by Discord itself.

Is there another option?

Yes! I'll create a post here with a private YouTube link for those who can't join the channel. Keep in mind that for YouTube it will be like for Patreon: you will need your own copy!
