Summer's been wild here so far, but I'm finally getting my scanning done. It's been as hot as Satan's oven here, and storms have made things like 'having electricity' and 'not having a migraine' kind of gambles, but I've been way lucky with both, regardless.
I'll get the color pieces scanned shortly, but I think the sale may wait until next week, since the 4th is coming up, and I don't wanna conflict with anyone's plans.

May's been a wild month for me, and I let my scanning/uploading get away from me, but here they are! Got one guy in the mix this month and another rat, along with a maned wolf, fox, dalmatian, etc. etc. etc. I also wanted to do a rabbit, so she's in there too. Trying some new stuff this month. I came across an old carbon paper tablet and started incorporating it into my art workflow again. I used to use the stuff to transfer sketches, but it felt meaningless back then. Now I'm at a point where it really helps, and I hope it shows through on this set!

only one watercolor this month (the horse), the rest are colored pencil or colored pencil and copics. Pretty happy with a few that I went kind of crazy on the backgrounds on. I used up more than a couple of colored pencils, all the way to the nub. They take so MUCH time to get full coverage with, but they're great now that I've gotten the hang of using them!

Getting into this late, because I'm permanently bad at calendars, and was busy all weekend, but here's the month's monochrome pieces! Got a couple of Water Colors (which I'm loving lately) some colored pencils, and a couple that are the blend of colored pencil and copics. Also tried for a bit more variety in species. Got a Maned Wolf and an African Wild Dog in the mix.

Got out my watercolors this month for a couple of these. I bought some watercolor paper that I wanted to try out, and I was having fun with it. Also been leaning on the colored pencils more and more lately. The doberman girl is a redraw of a pic I realized is 10 years old, now, so I had to give her another go, this time in colored pencils instead of copics.
Any thoughts/feelings on the day of the sale this time? I'm thinking Tuesday, but I'm definitely open to changing that.
