I enjoy day-dreaming about game-design, and one idea I really enjoy that gets used pretty often is a 'rune system.' I like having a base item or base character who gets modified by interchangeable runes. I like the idea of a regular hammer suddenly becoming a 'flying hammer' just because it has a special symbol that was etched onto it a magician of some sort.

I'm actually giving an explanation for a redesign this time. I've always drawn Mark to be something like Grunge from Gen 13 (a 90s comic I'm very nostalgic for), but now I want him to look more like a typical Shōnen protagonist. Mark and Cadence's adventures continue. This is quite possible the most I'll ever get invested into continuity. Just small visual and narrative indications that Mark and Cadence have any sort of actual linear story. So they were running from bounty-hunters in the last one, and Cadence will still have short hair in the next Mark comic, but that's kinda it.
I REALLY do want to make my 'own website' now where I can lay out all of the Mark stuff I've done in mostly chronological order...
