Thanks for your patience everyone, I swear this project is cured. I suffered another crash while saving, which is why I don't have a larger resolution of this. It saved at the lower resolution, so that's what I have. It's servicable though, so I'm happy to move on to page 4. The Knights and above have already voted on the winner, which will be the next page, then we'll vote on what 'Sexuality' gets used on the loser. Then Kano will probably jump in, curb-stomp the winner (It is his time-line)...

So I'm gonna try and get through this one kinda quickly (by my standards). I don't think I planned this first page out. I should have had them trading blows, but whatever. This first vote is just to see who wins. So, basically . . .

This concept is kinda growing on me. I think I really enjoy drawing the Skaven now. It's funny that the other thing I'm working on tight now also involves a sexy rodent.

It's fine. It loooks nothing like the art from page 1, which is what I was afraid of. Uuuuuuugh. I really shouldn't even attempt multi-page comics until I've settled on a method. 

So I guess Sindel isn't actually evil? I've got to be honest, the only Mortal Kombat 'lore' I know is that it has sexy female ninjas who wear thongs and murder each other. If there is any more plot than that, please don't tell me. I'll only hate it.

Showing where I'm at with the MK thing. It's what I'm focussed on tonight. I have an idea that I've been saving for a while and I really just want to get it out, kinda as a silly nod to myself. I spend so much time making 34 of modern properties (and therefore supporting their commoditization), that I should really think about making 34 of the art that I got started with. Boring classical shit!

I think it looks better without text. I also just feel like i ended up using the space, and now covering it up with text would annoy me. Crash

It crashed. My computer crashed during a save, which means I lost everything. I lost even more than what you see here. I'd have to redraw this to get it in a resolution I can work with again. I'd have to redraw it. I had already started coloring it. I had been trying to save it as another file when it crashed.

I'm so frustrated with how bad my larger WIPs look that I decided to put them aside and I did this just to distract myself. Every time I do this it gets harder and harder to go back to a WIP I'm unhappy with, though, and I often end up scrapping it to just start over. Ugh. I might be doing that again.

WIPS, Going slow

I'm sorry everything is going so slowly, everyone. Especially to those with sketches I'm still working on. I'm trying to take everything one-at-a-time right now, but that's not really helping since I keep scrapping what I'm working on to start over. Everything I draw looks wonky to me. Every face is wrong. Every color is muddy. I feel like I've spent a week trying and I've gotten nothing done. I just need to power through what's left, even if it looks bad.

WIP , Updates

At this point, I think I've talked to everyone I need to talk to about my pending commissisn and Duke requests. I'm going to really take my time catching up and clearing my plate, so rather than bouncing around like I use to (which I now realize was a bad habit, because it killed my momentum coming back to ideas I wasn't enthusiastic about), I'm going to focus on things one at a time. I'm ending the Duke tier. I need to clear my plate of the things I have. I thought I could handle this much work, but I've been behind every month for several months. This is a very easy job, I'm just not capable of doing it.

Weedoween

Another experiment in rendering an image in BW first, and then coloring through lots and lots and lots of playing around with layers. I think it has a neat outcome, but it feels very random and new every time I do it. It's not like my 'comic bool' method of doing everything on just 3-4 layers, which creates a more consistent result, but I think a less creative one. 

I have another WIP with the character Wade, but it seriously derailed and I probably need to start over. 

Cheating/Cheating Poll

I guess it's funny. I'm not sure If I shouldn't have just gone for a sexy pin-up of three sexy cavegirls being sexy next to some dinosaur or sabertooth-tiger, or something. I like this very small bit of world-building I guess. The idea of girls clapping their butts together to communicate across long distances . . . Sure . . . That makes sense in this setting.

I'm glad I started this one over, even as just a messy colored sketch. I feel like I'm forgetting things though, like how to draw an attractive face. My art is getting blander, at least in my eyes, and no one wants bland.

I may be starting a couple WIPs over. These are looking fine, but they are both second-drafts as well. I'm moving much slower than I use to, I think. I'm not even sure what the ideas here are. I don't even have a joke for the second one. Maybe I should just stop trying to be funny. It makes everything feel forced and cringe (more cringe than my art already being smut). Maybe that's why it all feels fake and tacky.
