These were a lot of fun, although I kinda lost track of Batman after the second vignette, and I just went with a general BDSM-Batman theme after that. This actually is one of my favorite aspects of the Batman mythos. The sexual understones, especially of dominance and rough-play. It's kinda hard to ignore, and I like it when artists are aware enough to recognize that tight latex outfits are something of a fetish.

Bel 4th thing?

Last month was a shit-show, and everything that I tried to do during it should probably just be scrapped. This is the 4th of July idea I was working on. What's the idea? A Chinese firework girl has captured Bel, and I guess is going to murder him unless he becomes her slave. What does that have to do with American Independence Day? I don't know. This was only a Duke Sketch that I wasted a month on, so I don't mind scrapping it here.

I'm not sure this one is worth spending more time on. I cleaned up the line-art, which takes up the time for coloring. If I colored this now I'd have to commit more time, and I don't think there's anything here worth the time. I might move on, but I'll keep the file.

Sorry about being radio-silent this weekend. I actually did stuff! Good stuff! I'm back at it for the week though. 

I actually do enjoy drawing robots now, which is a break from my usual dislike of sci-fi. Robots are really more creature-like than anything, which is fun. I just don't think my style conveys 'sci-fi' very well. unless it is the SUPER campy space-opera sort, which I love. 

Heavy Metal: Lobo-Fest!

It's not perfect, but I think you guys are accustomed to how messy my stuff can be. I'm just happy that I more or less accomplished what I think I wanted with the color. There is a lot I still need to learn about lighting and everything. 

Lobo is fun. Definitely my favorite guilty-pleasure character. I cosider him to be DC's Deadpool, and the fact that they don't use him like that upsets me. Man . . . DC was the shit in the 1990s and early 2000s.
