WIP: Lara v Kim

Princess Cadence

Working on a comic featuring Bel and Cadence, and I thought "Hey, I should update Cadence's look," so I came up with this. I'm also going to do one of Mark (not that he needs it, since his design hasn't really changed) and maybe one of Tamora. 

Duke Sketch: Black Baller Bimbofication

Duke request for a sporty Black girl getting bimbofied. This is a bit more complex than what most Duke sketches call for, but as you might have noticed, I avoided drawing legs and feet, so it went pretty quickly. Also, bimbofication is a fun theme.

WIP, Almost Done

I think I have too many active WIPs right now. I think from this point forward, I'm locking into one thing at a time and finishing them. Hopefully I'll have two done tonight, and one done tomorrow. That still leaves two WIPS though. Yeesh. I want a clean slate for Septemeber since I want to spend all my free time that month working on the Ladybug comic that I'll still never finish, but at least I'll get a couple pages out.

I have never played a Spyro game. I do not know what they are, but there is aparantly this new (or revamped?) character going around named Elora, and she is a cute tomboy goat-girl who calls Spyro a 'dork,' and for some reason I love it when cute tomboy's call boys names. Had to do a quick sketch since I felt inspired. 

WIP: Durable-Girl

You know what, I think I'm going to finish this. It'll only be a one-shot probably, since I don't think there are any other jokes to tell with this character, but it's good to get it out of my head, that way I can focus on other things. I play to spend all of my free time in September working on the Ladybug comic anyhow, so I won't have room for distractions.

Fantasy Fight: Aurora vs Cinderella, Part 2

WOW! This took me over a month? Honestly though, I got bored with it and put it aside. That always happens to me with multi-part projects. So watching My Hero Academia got me thinking about superheroes again, and the character i tried to develop called White Rabbit. My Hero Academia: Mashirao's Tail

So I took most of today off. Spent like five hours playing Magic with friends, and the rest I spent actually watching an anime for once. I'm normally very bad about watching anime. 1) I don't understand most of the tropes, and I don't think I want to. 2) Each anime has too many rules to learn. The worst was Bleach. Duke SketcH: Female Warlock

I don't think i did the best job of designing this character. The design is fine, but the character is supposed to be a male warlock who got changed into a female via a magic belt. I think I got the belt down, but I do't have any visual clues to show that this character was once male. She looks like any other sexy female character I'd design. Looks like I'm going to finish this fight today, along with another Duke sketch. I may post the poll for the next Fantasy Fuck Fight now, but I'm not sure if it'll be so developed as this comic was. I think I'll start by having you all vote on who FIGHTS, and then I'll decide if I just want to do a small drawing, or another longer pseudo-comic in which you vote for WINS.

Mark's Re-Education

Finished. I like this one. I think the coloring came out well, and I like how I'm drawing Mark now. This will probably be my last personal project for a bit. I'm going to spend the rest of tonight working on Duke sketches.

Oof. Why do I do this to myself, and to the rest of you? Why do I sketch out some complicated tableau that I know will take me multiple days to finish, and by the time I do, I've already lost interest.

Bel + Elves = Belves

Aw man, aw jeez. I've got a lot of mixed feelings about this one. The patron had a very simple request. Bel and some elves. "Great!" I said. "Something simple for me to work with. Awesome. I've really had trouble editing myself recently, and I'm always sketching out way more details than I'll be willing to go through with." 

And then what do I do? . . . What I always do. I go too wide and make something that's kind of a mess.

Finished with this one. It might be another week before I finish the Mark comic. I'd like to move on to finish another commission first. 

WIP: Mark's Re-Education

For some reason I really don't feel like coloring. Actually, I don't feel like getting the flats down. Coloring actually sounds fun, but I have to eat my vegetables to get to my dessert. So instead of finishing anything, I'm just working on a bunch of different line-arts, and will eventually move onto coloring all at once. 

WIP: Banana Challenge

I WIP of a girl named Jinx doing the 'Banana Challenge,' whereby you stuff a banana down your throat, squish out all the fruit filling, and then pull the empty peel out. I may have made this up, but I'm pretty sure someone's done it before. 

I'm probably going to wait to color this after I've finished the line-art on another comic I'm working on. For some reason it is easier for me to go from line-art to line-art, and then color multiple things at once. I really don't enjoy doing the flat...

Remember that Ladybug comic I was making? The one I abandoned on page 5 (this page) because I'm such a slow artist, and i dislike getting bogged down by big projects, especially if they won't get as much circulation as just drawing random shit every couple days? Should I finish this? I think I can boil the story down to 10 or 11 pages, but it'll still take a while.
