Cache from July and So

Here's the link for the most recent Cache. You know, someone recently asked me about cataloging ALL OF MY stuff into google-drive, and having it visible to my 10+ patrons. The problem is, I'm not sure how to organize that, and I think my catalog of stuff is a bit bigger than 15 gigabytes. Any thoughts? 

Savage Girls: New Outfit

So this cave-girl trip started as just a way to get this fetish out of my head, and I think i'm going to need a whole month to do it. It was never my intention to develop any characters. This one kind of evolved on its own. I started sketching a cave-girl in a fur hoodie based on an image of Sombra I like, and I got a certain high-school bitch vibe from it, so I drew another girl, but she ended up as some sort of bone-warrior, and then I remembered a fun fact about ancient art. Alright, moving right along. Someone suggested a really good idea that I should combine my catfights with my cavegirl thing. They also suggested that I have the catfighting cavegirls be Disney Princesses who you all vote on, but as I'm going through the list (literally right now), I'm realizing that I may not want to do that. Savage Girls: Bigger Fish, Better Fish

I think I may have gone a little overboard on this one, but I'm still figuring out how to do scenery in a way that is quick, efficient, and adds to the compositions without distracting. 

As for the picture, who knows? Maybe that thirsty little parrot girl really is just interested in getting some of that big fish for dinner and she isn't a size-queen at all. VISUAL HUMOR! That's what I'm trying to do.

Oh man, i really, really, REALLY enjoyed making this. It all came together really well it felt like. Quick and painless, especially since I opted not to do a full scenery. Drawing the dino was fun, and there's nothing about cave-girls I find boring or challenging, like when i try to draw modern or futuristic settings.

WIP: Rick and Morty

I do intend to color this. I'd do it right now, but it's August, and it's CAVE-GIRL MONTH, so I'm going to finish a simple picture of a cave-girl right now instead, and finish this tomorrow. Once I have the cave-girl image up, I'll have some poll or something for Knights and above abotu which cave-girl themed idea I should work on next. These won't be the usual daily sketches per se, because I will fully color most of them, but to varrying degrees.

Daily Sketch for 7/31/2017

August is my month off, so all of the Daily Sketches in August are going to probably be Cave-girl related. Also, hence forth, I'm thinking i'm going to say "Savage-Girls" rather than "Cave-Girls" since I'm trying to capture a tone and theme of a magical savage fantasy world with ancient cities, magic, and dinosaur-dragons things.

Daily Sketch: Sleepover Size-Envy

A little different this time. Softer line-art. After looking at hard black lines for so long, shifting towards a softer average helped me compose the image better, although I don't really like the end result as much as I do with hard blacks, so . . . I dunno. It'll change from time to time.

So my plan was to take September off to catch up and work on my own stuff, but considering how badly July went for me I don't think it's smart to hold it off. Proof of Concept

I probably should have waited till September to finish this sketch, and I will to finish my other cave-girl stuff, but I was excited to get something done as proof of concept. Semi-Daily more like. I don't think I did a really good job conveying that this is supposed to be Hansel and Gretel getting lost in the hood. If I could color it I'd make the witch Black probably. Alright, as before, this story was written based on a Poll done at the $5 and up levels. Like my art, the product is available to everyone, but involvement is for the community.
