Mark versus the Mountain Girl

So this image is a good example of a few things I'm struggling with.First, instruction. The patron requested a character sheet of a 'rock elemental' and I ended up developing it into a scene for some reason. Two, scenery in general, I still suck at it. Three, exit plans. This image went through like 5 different color schemes. The first was very winter-themed, with big mountains in the background, and then the second was summer with orange crystals instead of blue. Windows 10 bomb??

So I just lost about three hours of work when my computer up and decided on its own to restart and install Windows 10. What? How? I didn't ask it to. I never got a warning or clicked anything. Very frustrated. This comic I'm making feels cursed because I had a power outage last week that made me start over from the beginning. Very annoyed.

CYOA: A Wild Pokebitch Appears, Final

YES! Done! I swear I don't know what's wrong with me. Why do I start this big comic projects knowing how much time they take, and how much time that means gets taken away from commissions. I am very happy with this last page. Best of the 5, but I do seem to lose interest in these comics by page 5.

Warm-up Sketch, Nocturnal

Worked on this between the comic pages I'm working on right now. These use to be 'daily' but I'm not really doing that anymore because I'd rather keep working on something until it is at least this good, even if it is just to warm up. 

So what should be the next thing I work on between other projects? I kind of want to revisit the dominatrix-Disney theme, but a little more focused. So . . .

Mark and the Lich Queen

A comic following up the character sheet of Azalea, the Lich Queen. 

This comic is one part of a few more things I'm doing for my Fool (the top tier slot), which will mark the end of thier reign. All things must come to and end, and I'm very grateful for the incredible amount of support they've given me. When I made the $300 slot I was being kind of hopeful, and I'm still amazed someone thought my stuff was worth the expense.

Okay, so I feel really bad about this one because a request for a nude Lightning from Final Fantasy go put onto my stack over a month ago (beneath the comics I'm working on) and it took forever to get down considering its just a straight up pin-up. What's REALLY embarrassing is I forget who requested it. I have a note, but all it says is "TT requests Lightning."

Warm-Up Sketch, Chandra

So I'm no longer calling these 'sketch of the days' since I'd rather develop them a bit more over 2-3 days and get a result like this, rather than a messy sketch. The purpose remains the same. These exist to warm me up for my real work. They are still minimum effort sketches, just with a bit more finishing.

Story: Aphrodite's Labyrinth

Might not seem like it, but this is actually an origin story for Excellia the Minotaur, commissioned by the OC's owner (I'm pretty sure, I would be surprised if it turned out to be someone else). Excellia is not in it though. It's all about the gods. 

Sketch of the Day, Gaige

These 'sketches' are kinda becoming more developed, but don't get use to that. Gaige got as developed as she did because I revisited her twice over two days. 

What do you guys think of this style? Flats with all the accents being in the line-art? I like it. It's very quick and easy. It also just feels like cheating, and I want to keep going. I don't know when to stop. Would anyone ever want thier commission done like this instead of my usual shading? I'm just curious. 

Ramona

Rastaba's oldest sister. We might be expanding on Rastaba's entire family, which I imagine is quite large. I had a lot of fun creating the world Ramona comes from. The idea of a dominatrix-themed culture where everything is expressed in terms of dominance and submission has always appealed to me.

Sketch of the Day, Cavegirl

I put a little bit more effort into this one, and went into the line-art and flatting. Needed a bit more of a kick today. 

For tomorrow, how about something from Borderlands. The video game. I've been playing it a lot recently as a dumb time waster, and I'm surprised how much I still enjoy it. So Maya, or Lilith, or Moxxi. If Tiny Tina or Gaige wins I WILL age them up, please don't expect me to do anything else. That's not the sword I want to fall on.

These Sketches of the day have really helped my productivity I think. I'm already. Really gets the engine going. 

I'm already running low on ideas. This Disney one was way too open ended, so how about something totally binary. Cowgirl or Cavegirl?

So Tracer won yesterday's vote, but one concern brought up by multiple people is that Tracer is overexposed, and  should pick someone else. Mercy was second, so I figured I'd do both. This will not normally happen.

My actual knowledge of Final Fantasy stuff is pretty weak. I played FF7 forever ago, and I remember have of it as a dream sequence. Was there a whole thing with a dolphin, or is that my imagination? The rest of this I pulled from the wiki. I totally didn't remember Lucrecia at all until the patron recommended her.

So the next part will the the conclusion, although two of the three options kind of end on cliffhangers. I had hoped to finish this comic this month, but its already the 19th and looking at my schedule (I'm currently sketching 3 different comics, 1 character sheet, and one larger picture) I'm simply not going to have time. Might not be till early May that we see the end of Ashley's bad day trying to catch a wild Pokebitch.

April Fool's

A rather late April Fool's commission from the fool. Also a critique of Patreon Exclusives. You guys do get to see a lot of stuff no one else does, but anything that I think is 'worth' it does end up either on Tumblr or HF. 

WIP

WIP as in work-in-progress. Not as in "watch me wip, watch me nay-nay." I just wanted to post something since this is about half-way done and I like where it is going, but I'm not sure how much I'll mess it up in the final stages.  

Orc Shaman

I really like the way this one turned out, although it took a while because I really used a lot of 'traditional' panting instead of the usual gradient shortcuts I've been practicing with . I like the result though, I just wish this kind of thing didn't take so long. 

From bad, to worse, to imps

Rose the sorceress trying her best to escape from Princess Ariela's dungeon, which is just chock-full of horny monsters ready to fuck the shit out of whatever they catch. Rose's friend Cadence is in a similar predicament  (you might remember the picture of the cowgirl escaping from tentacles only to get double-stuffed by a hell-hound).

Cab Opener

A buff raider-lord named Slab tearing into a Brotherhood Knight only to find a tasty treat inside. My scenery skills suck. I actually think this is one of the better backgrounds I've ever made, and it still looks like something a little kid might draw. And making the full composition make sense is way outside my vision. 

Which should I upload to Hentai Foundry?

Also, WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH HENTAI FOUNDRY? I think it's been down for hours. I don't want to panic, and just hope...
