Hullo, Patrons! The votes are in and here's your reward for helping me reach my first funding goal. Thank you all so much! This article isn't going to made public until later this week so you all get to enjoy it first.

Five days ahead of schedule! HMCS Haida is the next review I'm going to tackle and I'm planning to have that one done before July 1st. Over the next few days, I'm going to try and catch up on my reward backlog. Please keep an eye on your email boxes if you're expecting to hear from me. ♥

Right, review is done. Massachusetts will be the next full review and I'm going to try and get that done before June 25th. Before that though, I know I have a backlog of monthly rewards to see to. Thank you all for being patient about that -- this has been one hectic month. After Massachusetts I suspect I'll be rushi...

Hi, everyone. Thanks for your patience -- I caught the flu this week which delayed this review (and everything else) while I was hiding under blankets. I'll be catching up on everything I've missed over the next few days, so keep an close eye on this space.

Thank you all so much. Your generosity means the world to me. When my friend urged me to set up a Patreon back in January, I was a little taken aback by all of the features that I was prompted to fill out. One of these was a funding goal. I picked a round number -- $500 a month seemed incredibly optimistic. Five months later, that goal has been exceeded.
I am blown away and I hope to continue to be deserving of your support. Thank you all.

This is a quick update to let you guys know what to look for when it comes to the codes handed out by World of Warships Community Contributors (not just me) over the month of June. Good luck on getting one of these codes!

The first of what is now shaping up to be five (yes five) ship reviews over the next 30 days or so, not including anything else that appears on my plate. Enjoy!

This article (linked above) seemed like the best way to get all of the information out in one go rather than spam you all with a bunch of smaller announcements. In short:
* May's almost over. Thank you so much for your continued support! Angry Youtuber tier submissions will be reviewed shortly.
* Warspite winners announced.
* First Funding Goal has been reached. I'm blown away.
* Review Schedule fo...

What a week. Thank you all for your patience -- I know I went dark for the last few days. I'm back now and in desperate need of contact with other grown-ups. To this end, have a long overdue summary of the new American cruiser line!

Wargaming handed out the new American tier 10 light cruiser to test today. I played all of one game in her and quickly fell in love. She's weird -- a cross between an Atlanta and a Cleveland, or a Minotaur and a Des Moines. Her guns are very rapid fire and her AA power is insane.
She remains a Work in Progress and still subject to change. We'll see what happens over the development cycle.

At the recommendation of a friend of mine, I've opened up a related Facebook page. I'm just going to use it for World of Warships material such as answering questions, posting what I'm up to in game and lurking like a champ. I am going to keep it open most of the day so it's another way to reach me if you prefer!

The poll is complete. Thank you everyone for taking the time to vote and especially to those who took time to comment too. Prinz Eugen won this round. I'll begin work on her immediately, but she may be a bit delayed until 0.7.4 launches and I get some play time in to evaluate how her new Repair Party affects her balance.

Whew, it's good to finally put this one to bed. There's a lot of controversy surrounding this ship and I feel it's reasonably well deserved, if slightly blown out of proportion.

Free bote alert! She's a looker, but not a doer. As the third tier 3 Russian premium cruiser added to the game, Varyag needed something to make her stand out from the crowd. That something was suck.
Hide your wallets on this one. If you want her, complete the mission. Check the portal in your region for the requirements.

I'm really sorry, guys. I'm so very close to having Graf Spee finished but it's not quite ready yet. Lert finished his proof reading today and there's just a couple of hours worth of work to do before it can be published. Real life is blowing up in my face (and stressing me out), so I did something creative to pass the time.
Enjoy these animated gifs I put together in the meantime. These are for an upcoming review due out later this month. You should have somethin...

Let's put this one to bed. This is one of the things that kept me busy during the month of March. Flamu noticed an apparent dispersion error with Missouri a couple of patches previously and I offered to map out their dispersion to see if it could be isolated.
My initial findings, comparing a sample taken from patch 0.6.15 in late 2017 to one from patch 0.7.3 didn't present any anomalies. Then people began to say they felt an enormous difference if they removed any accura...

This month felt hella unproductive despite being busy as all get out throughout it.
Hi, everyone. It's been five weeks since my last full review was published which doesn't make me happy. Wargaming makes me aware of what ship is coming out next so I can properly budget time to have my reviews ready for when the ship is released. Sometimes things go wrong and I get ambushed with last-minute reviews. Other times, a ship gets delayed and I end up sitting on a complete...

Three years on and there's an unfortunate lack of awards and achievements in World of Warships. On a lark, I put together these as suggestions for some more that could be added to the game.

Thank you to everyone at my Gudbote tier and higher that participated in the recent poll on which older review I should update. The results are in and here they are:
We had a three-way tie for the runner up with Ishizuchi, Giulio Cesare and Perth each receiving two votes a piece. Admiral Graf Spee took it all with a healthy majority of thirteen votes. I will get started on this immediately. Keep your eyes peeled in-game. You'll see me taking her out a lot mor...

Wargaming has been slow to lift the embargo on content for any of the new premiums they've issued. There are now eight ships in development limbo (Massachusetts, T-61, Salem, Monaghan, Asashio, Cossack, Abruzzi, Gascogne) not including Graf Zeppelin. I've no idea which one will have their review greenlit first. In the meantime, I thought I would do a quick preview of the current iterations of some of the more recent test ships.
Enjoy!
