There we go! My contemporary take on Jungle Japes!
I know there are people who'd prefer if I made a remix of DK Island Swing instead, but DK64's Jungle Japes has always had a special place in my heart, same as DK64 itself. I know the game gets a lot of flak for a lot of things (looking at you Beaver Bother >:c), but it came at the perfect time in my childhood for me to be able to enjoy the heck out of it despite its flaws ^^

[New 2nd Channel Video] SCRAPPED 2015 REMIX - Donkey Kong 64 -Jungle Japes

This cover was finished in December 2015, but I decided against releasing it at the time because I didn't feel it lived up to how highly I think of Jungle Japes as a song.

There are definitely elements I'm happy with, but all in all I felt I'd written myself into a corner in a style I didn't particularly enjoy, and that the cover couldn't be salvaged without a complete rewrite. I really just wanted to move on to other projects.
