Chapter 6 news

Hello everybody! November is nearing it's end and so is Chapter 6 production. I finished Ian's part of the story a few weeks ago and all the drawings are done. I'm hard at work on Lena's part (I've been writing almost 1000 lines per day lately), and I should be able to finish it in a couple days or so, if all goes well. After that I will have the proofreader take a look at it and do some bugtesting, also I hope the colorist finishes working on all of the illustrations on time...

GGGB vs ORS: Themes

GGGB didn’t start with a defined theme. You can play the story of a nice girl who delves deep into the criminal underworld of her city, who learns to exploit her sexuality to get what she wants, who finds love in her best friend, who loses her mind to lust... The game was more of a playground for the player to follow his whims and explore romantic, horny and outlandish scenarios.

GGGB vs ORS: Main characters

One of the things that made GGGB unique was the female POV of the story. Most adult VN are written and played by men, so it’s natural the male POV is the prevalent one. When I started GGGB there were a few female POV games out there, but most of them were, how to put this... not too well done.

Ed and Molly's café

This is the first background that appears on ORS and one of my favourite. Lena found work in this small and cozy café run by the lovely Van Dyke couple. But the city's living through hard times when it comes to the economy, and the café is struggling to attract clients.

GGGB vs ORS: Gameplay

Chapter 6 news update

Chapter 6 will be titled "In Full Swing". I think this reflects the stage where the game is finally at: the groundwork is already set and most story threads are starting to develop. 

This chapter will feature some of my favourite scenes to date, and hopefully some of the hottest too! 

Ian's part is already done and now I'm begging to write Lena's side of the story. All the drawings are also finished on my part, but the colorist is still ...

Whose room is this?

Being able to invest money on ORS has enabled me to commission awesome background art for the game, opposed to GGGB, where I had to cut corners. But his also means I need to be selective with which backgrounds to commission, since they're expensive! That's why I have to be mindful of the scenarios where the story and the action happens, and make good use of them.

In Chapter 6 I will use a new background. Do I need to tell you whose room this is?

Who's your favourite MC

After finishing GGGB I knew I wanted to try something a bit different and challenge myself. Ashley was a fun female main character to play with and I know many of you guys loved all the possibilities she offered.

This time around I wanted to write deeper and more complex characters, and not limit myself to a female point of view, which would've made the game feel very similar ...

Chapter 6 news update

Hello, everyone!

Work on chapter 6 is underway. I'm practically healed from my surgery, healed enough to be able to consistently work, at least. I've been hard at it during this month, working at the same time in Chapter 5 Enhanced Edition and progressing with Chapter 6.

Around 65% to 75% of the art is already done (the colorist is still working on it, though) and today I finally finished Ian's part of the script. It's 6670 lines of code long (so ...
