We have been dealing with a lot this past week and a half.

- Son's first pet death. Poor pet rat has been declining this last week and a half and finally came to its finality on the morning of the 13th.. Pet went comfortably in its sleep of old age.. still, hard for a 9 year old to process that their time with a loved pet is now over.
- Eye infection... My eyelids become infected ever now and again, recently with less frequency, but still a difficult thing to deal with when working ...

Skylords 034 ink

The white parts are slightly grey, so you can actually see them. Making them full black or full white, is not working.

Will continue to keep the words out, but leave the word bubbles in for the ink version.

I have been having some troubles over how I wish to depict the shadow creatures.. They need to be somewhat tangible, but also.. like smoke.. and I have not worked with that element a lot so it is a difficult process trying to make them fit both in water and outside of it.. will work on some things off page to figure them out better.

Tweaks to the Schedule

Hey Fans!

First off, I'm working on my personal schedule and juggling kids to try to get work done a bit earlier in the month (it's currently a WIP as you all can see).  But also I've been doing some self assessment and I found that I'm really excited about this new side comic that I'm working on as well as having a tougher time with Male x Male art.  So here is what I am changing:

March MM Donation Sketch

So, a bit of insight into my .. work habits. The first sketch (to the left), was my original thought. I was happy with the 'stick people' I had made and was working on detailing it... after getting so far.. it really wasnt working, and I was able to figure out why after trying to move Shai into the place I wanted him.. Stick figures looked like it worked.. in the end it didnt.. Wasted work? Perhaps.. but its all a process.
